It's a nice small village.
It's a nice small village. We visited the local restaurants and the food was excellent! This village is built near the Plastira's Lake. We were able to see things that we don't see when living in big cities. These are the forest and the rivers there, some places in the woods to walk and exercise and, my personal favorite, we were able to see cows! One night, we attended a ceremony for a name celebration at the local church. People there were very welcoming. It was easy to get there, though the road is not in a very good condition. Using a Navigator Device will make your trip way too easy! Overall, it's a great place to stay, relax and enjoy the nature and the food there.
This hotel was spectacular! Maria was incredible! She greeted us with open arms and made us feel right at home. Our room was incredible and Maria even brought up a huge container of wood for us to enjoy and beautiful fire in our room. The hotel is just beautiful and the details of the room were greatly appreciated. The setting of the hotel lends to an unparalleled view of Limni Plastira and the rustic town. We will be back and stay longer! We wish Maria the best! Warmest, Johanna and Costa
Maria and her husband are very friendly and want you to have a good time at their hotel. They provide informations about what to do in the area. We were the very first guests at the very new restaurant. The diner outside on the terrace was lovely. The hotel is very pleasant, there are not too many rooms and the view on the lake is great. We enjoyed the peaceful atmostphere in this hotel and the chat with Maria who is very nice and interesting.
Zakoni is located on a beautiful hill and our room was overlooking the hotel garden and the lake.

Maria, the owner, was very helpful, welcoming and kind. She gave us a very comfortable feeling and was always at our disposal for any questions or recommendations.
Friendly Staff. A minor issue with our booking was promptly resolved with an upgrade to our room. The breakfast was excellent. The common areas of the hotel have a very nice traditional feel, and lovely view of the lake. It is worth visiting the hotel just to have a coffee or drink at the main lounge and enjoy the view and the room atmosphere.

Among the best hotels I've been to in the world, especially well-equipped, I was upgraded to a suite with a jacuzzi and a view of the lake, a dream. The breakfast is pampering with everything good.
