Logues Lodge  

Bus from galway stop right in front Logues Lodge. the breakfast are quite good. staffs are friendly =)

Very charming lodge and rooms. Tried our first Irish coffee at the pub. Had an excellent dinner (roast lamb) and dessert (Baileys brown bread ice cream) at the pub as well. We were able to park for free out on the street.

this little gem was central to all the activities in the burren. The staff could not have been more efficient. Nothing was a problem. A really lovely comfortable, reasonable and friendly place to stay. I will definitely stay there again

Staff are simply terrific rarely lack an answer to any queries and quick to direct us to places of local interest. Food in bar is great value and tasty at end of long burren walks.Restaurant was closed during our stay but suspect it is good also.Standard in Ballyvaughan for food is high.

Very little actually since our only problem was a faulty showerhead and solution was to move rooms.

Location: The town of Ballyvaughn was quaint and close to the Burren. Lodge: Over a historical and beautiful town pub which somehow creates lots of energy and enthusiasm. Food: Breakfast was delicious. Staff was always willing to make something. Staff: Very helpful WiFi

Parking: tight, but seems to be the Irish way.

The hotel is really lovely and has a lovely homely feel. The staff are so friendly and helpfull, could not fault them. The food is really good too. Beautiful location too.

Lovely inn and accommodations, extraordinary service! For example, I didn't bring an alarm clock but had to awaken the last morning at 5:30 in order to make the drive to Dublin airport. Kiernan (spelling?) not only lent me his personal cell phone & set the alarm, but called at 6:15 to make sure I was awake. Restaurant food and prices were excellent.

Lack of an alarm clock was a bit of a concern, but as noted above this problem was solved by the staff.

Cannot find fault with the service and the room was fantastic. No 26 If anyone is interested!

The grilled tomatoes were not as good as the last visit we had but nobody's perfect!! Lol :-)

We only decided to go somewhere at the very last minute and as it was the june bank hol wk-end we were lucky to get logues lodge as everywhere else was booked out. Its a lovely place and I have to say we found all the staff very helpful. Our room was nice and actually over the music downstairs but it wasn't a problem. The place has an old world feel to it and the food was great aswell. The music was lively both nights we stayed and the crowd seemed to be a mix of both young and old. We certainly hope to come back another time.

They happily gave us coffee and water for our hike, good food, friendly efficient professional staff

arrived late from dublin 10.30pm due to collisions on motorways, in response to a request for food the barman said the kitchen was closed, we went to bed hungry! could they have heated up soup, made a quick sandwich......????

Friendly helpful staff, relaxed atmosphere, cosy bar, great location within the Burren but with local shop etc.

Decor is a bit dated and in need of freshening up.
