The staff at the hotel always greeted you with a smile, they were extremely friendly and always happy to help.
The gym was well stocked for those on holiday wishing to exercise, with great views over the golf course.

The location was great - I walked with my luggage from the train station. I had a wonderful dinner (vegetarian) in the dining room and then took a walk down to King John's castle to explore the area. It felt very safe and it was wonderful to walk along the river. I hope to return and highly recommend this small, friendly hotel.
