booking had 12pm check but lady who booked us in said 10am
Breakfast was awesome and we were on our own
After finally making contact with the housekeeper, we had a long wait until she arrived to check us in, in excess of 1 hour. There was mold in the bathroom. The TV didn't work. Breakfast was packets of instant coffee, and various packages of stale buns and rolls. I would not recommend this place, nor would I stay there again.
The location wasn't bad. The bed was very comfortable.
I did not like having no one to let me in and having to sleep on the beach.
The queen bed was two beds pushed together, then made up. But the beds didn't even match Heights. Makes it difficult to sleep. Your security is it question the way it's set up. The apartment is on the second floor the owners did not have a key to the elevator so we had to carry our suitcases upstairs to levels, not fun! It about killed my husband. This after calling three times with no answer for service. Ended up calling booking.com and they got a hold of them.
We had a hard time finding. Not very well marked, we do not speak Italian, so it took awhile. Once found it was perfect.
It was central, close to buses for cruise ship
When it said "B&B", I expected a pension - a small hotel. There is no staff on site. You are confronted with a formidable wooden door to a building with a sign to call a certain number. The lady who answered spoke very little English but fortunately an Italian and English speaking person came along and told her the situation. The woman arrived within 5 minutes and checked us in and left. There were three rooms. Our double was 7 feet wide and the ceilings must have been 12 feet. The two single beds were placed foot to foot. The wardrobe was so tall I couldn't reach the hangers. Flat screen TV mounted on the wall but you could only view it by sitting on a chair opposite it. Bathroom modern and clean. Breakfast was laid out in the morning, mostly prepackaged things but a couple of fresh pastries. Juice, yogurt and milk in the refrig. Coffee maker but we didn't know how to use it and didn't dare experiment. No one around. While it was satisfactory once we checked in, it should not be billed as a hotel or B&B. You absolutely have to have a phone to get someone to let you in and being able to speak Italian is almost a necessity.
Location across from train station convenient. Clean, comfortable, Wifi provided.
Everything about this place was bad from the hauling our bags up 42 steps, poor bed, and a plastic wrapped snack for breakfast. Very poor indeed. Not recommended for anyone unless absolutely desperate for place to have a bed.
Location was good
Nobody available for early check in
Price was good
The front door was locked to the B&B and there was no one there to check us in. After making a phone call, waiting about 20 minutes, someone finally showed up to unlock the door, they do not speak english, then they left, no one there incase we needed anything.... You are on your own after checking in.
The location close to the port where we caught our Cruise.
Check in arrangements, as the staff receptionist wasn't there at the agreed time and we didn't see her afterwards. Luckily the owner let us in. Breakfast was all pre-packed.
Location- close to sea, promenade and restaurants Close to station for visit to Rome Use of the kitchen for snacks and drinks.
This is an unusual enterprise. Almost literally a DIY B&B! Gaining access is difficult as you need to telephone 30 minutes before estimated arrival time and speak Italian to arrange a rendezvous. Parking is free if you can find a place - very difficult at night. The room is satisfactory but the tiny shower/lavatory had no toilet paper and though we had booked for 2 there was only one towel. Breakfast was also DIY and some of the items on the list were missing. Not ideal by any means
Difficult to get in we had problems with phoning to gain entry. No tea only coffee available
Convenient for rail travel Café and eating places nearby Locals friendly and welcoming Only 3 rooms like staying in someone house Clean, beds comfortable and shower hot with plenty of towels
No instructions provided upon arrival to get get the key. Front door locked. We got lucky the someone "came home" and let us into building with our luggage.
A decent place to stay before a cruise
Only single beds available and pretty small room.
Great location, right on the beach and close to many restaurants.
Booking in took 90 mins due to a man standing in front of signage . Took a call from next door to get someone as couldn't reach on my mobile. Pluged the Wifi in once we pulled the bed out and found it
poor quality breakfast-coffee machine not functioning
The convenience location for the port.
We had to call ahead 2 times in order to get someone to let us in. We had no towels and bunk beds, which I don't remember agreeing to. The wifi code didn't work either. There was no actual person who worked there to help us out, just a friend of the owner. It's in a building on the 2nd floor of an actual residential building. It's an apartment turned bnb... Very odd and easy to hear everything!
Good location from the port.
