La Spezia is one of those typical cities of the Liguria Region where colourful houses cover hills and cliffs, providing panoramic views over the sea. Thousands of years of history and a heart open towards the sea have shaped the character of this town surrounded by the 'Cinque Terre'.
Located on the coast of the namesake gulf, its proximity to Genoa has greatly influenced its development and culture. Take a walk uphill from the harbour, and admire the display of architectonic styles in the Old Town. L'àrea del port s'hi menja bé i el port és maco i té una bona flota de pesca. Per anar a Cinque Terre mai recomanaria fer-ho en época estival, era com un Parc d'Aventures amb pulseres i cues eternes per pujar i baixar dels trens i per qualsevol cosa, en altre época no massificat pot ser gratificant perque els poblets bonics ho són. En cas d'anar-hi potser Bocca di Magra o Porto Venere són llocs més tanquils i també ben comunicats.XavierEstats Units
