Hotel & Spa Bellavista Francischiello

The room was very nicely appointed and had a terrific view of the Isle of Capri from the balcony. The staff were wonderful, and the on-site restaurant was every bit as good as any place in town.

We did not realize just how far outside of Sorrento this hotel is; without a car, it is a 30 Euro taxi ride to the hotel from the train station. Also, there is a bus stop just outside the front door which was very convenient ... but we learned the hard way that busses become very infrequent after 9 PM.

An excellent hotel with a fantastic restaurant, on site parking with a bus stop to sorrento outside and a great view of capri from our room.

Make sure that you eat onsite - the food is amazing. Service was great. Room with a full size balcony looking out over the Bay of Naples to the Isle of Capri would be very hard to beat - it was fantastic. Large room very comfortable. Not in Sorrento itself, but about 6 kms away up the hill. Make sure you get directions or you will need to stop in Sorrento at the Visitor Centre to find the way - and parking there is non-existent. Off street parking at hotel very handy because it is situated on a very busy narrow mountain road. Bus stops right at the door!

We loved our view from the room, the pool was nice, very clean. We enjoyed eating in the Restaurant onsite and having the convenience of catching the bus in front of the hotel to shopping/eating in the Sorrento Square. Staff was great, courteous and very friendly. Would stay there again and hope to do so in a couple of years.

The staff were friendly, especially in the excellent restaurant. There is regular public transport to and from Sorrento, via the Massa bus and there is a bus stop outside the hotel door.

The service was excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient.

The staff at the hotel are very welcoming and endeavour to meet any requirements that you may have. The restaurant is excellent and serves many wonderful local fish dishes, it has a good selection of very drinkable local wines. The view of Capri from the balcony of our room was breathtaking. This is a small family run establishment which offers excellent value for money

Excellent staff, great views, very good food and not expensive. dining room staff particularly professional anad friendly.

Breakfast could have more variety - almost the same each day.

We stayed here for our friends wedding and had a lovely time. The rooms are really nice, we had a sea view which made it even nicer, although I think most of the rooms do anyway. The swimming pool is at the top of the hotel so you can overlook the island of Capri while you sunbathe! The food at the hotel restaurant is also very nice and is well known in the area as being one of the best places to eat. The hotel is slightly out of Sorrento, so you either need a car to get down into Sorrento town (the hotel has parking) or there is a bus that stops right outside the hotel, which is only a 10 minute journey, and the buses run quite late. Overall we had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you're looking for a place slightly more out of town to relax.
