Karina House is very near to PARCO REGIONALE SPINA VERDE : Path 5 - Monte Goj - Path 5 is a ring surrounding the Tre Croci or Monte Goj Mountains, and it can be reached either from Lora - Villa Salterio, Como, and from the urban center of Albate, to the hut on the top of Monte Goi. The trails are easily accessible on foot and wind up through the forests of broad-leaved trees. Along the path passes between the outcrops of gonfolite (sedimentary rock called comasco conglomerate which forms much of the Green Spin of Como); There are also numerous erratic boulders, witnesses to the geological past of the area and the enormous forces of pushing and shaping landscapes during glaciations. At the junction leading to the hut offers a first panoramic point of view on the Valbasca. But just by coming to the hut and continuing towards the Belvedere, one can admire a unic panorama of its kind on the city and on the hilly ridge of the Green Spine Park. The panoramic site is located about 470 meters above sea level.

OASI DEL BASSONE -This large park of about 90 hectares is located south of Como-very rich vegetation where the coniferous trees are the master, the fauna varies with many pigeons, turtledoves, red peaks and marsh hawks. In the swamp where ponds were formed, the peat was extracted a long time ago. The paths in the oasis are well marked by educational signs and bulletin boards.
