Simple but clean and cosey hotel. Situated almost direct at the Laggio Majore. The room I stayed in was rather "retro" like the rest of the hotel, but the bed was good, the shower worked fine and everything was very clean. The hotel has also a restaurant.
Breakfast was simple, but good enough. The staff is very friendly.
The hotel has its own parking place at the opposite of the road. Traffic noise is hearable but limited.
Right on the shores of Lake Maggiore, Hotel Capri has functional rooms, a bar and a terrace in Lesa, a 10-minute drive from Arona and 10 km from Stresa.

Room was clean and staff helpful. Balcony and terrace for breakfast was nice.
Located 300 metres from Lesa Train Station on Lake Maggiore, Aries is a family-run hotel. It features 2 terraces, 1 for sunbathing and 1 for enjoying meals from its restaurant.

The staff is friendly. Communication in English and German is no problem. As a stopover, the hotel is perfectly ok.

Lesa is a charming little town situated between the two...
Lesa is a charming little town situated between the two larger tourist hubs of Stresa and Arona. It offers a quieter pace of life and nice beaches including the local cold water Lido. Beaches are pebble, so bring your water shows.
If you don't have transport, there is an hourly bus service to take you to Stresa or Arona, where there are ferries to take you to other towns and islands on Lake Maggiore. There us a train station but not a frequent service so plan your trips carefully. Lesa has some very good restaurants and cafes on the promenade and also a very good supermarket and pharmacy. I would choose to stay here again, I really liked it.

The view from the Hotel to the lake is wonderfull.
The view from the Hotel to the lake is wonderfull. The room we had (number 4) is situated at the main street. When you book this Hotel for one night to travel further, then it is better to take another room. The location of the Hotel is nice and directly to the lake.
Everything.
The room is a decent size but it has everything that is needed, including some lil nice private space outside. The rest of the property is quite stunning. Everything clean, quite and beautifully designed.
Enrico and his wife are absolutely amazing hosts. We had a great chat with them.
Breakfast was delicious - something that I highly recommended.
Location: walking distance from Lesa and 5 mins or less from Stresa.
Very good value for money. We couldn't be happier and we will definitely aim to come back
Nino and his wife are very nice people and they made my sister and I feel very welcome at Casa Orisca. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay and the beds were very comfortable. The accommodation is situated within easy walking distance of the supermarket and the lake. We can recommend the restaurant "La Riva", where we had good pizzas at a reasonable price and the staff were very friendly. If we go to Lesa again, we would certainly stay at Casa Orisca. Grazie mille per tutto!
Lovely modern apartment in Lesa. Clean and comfortable to stay in with our 6 year old. Lesa is a very beautiful small town in a stunning location with some nice restaurants within easy walking distance. A bit further away is the supermarket, piscina and Erno beach. We didn’t have a car and managed well using the bus service to visit places. We enjoyed visiting Stresa, taking the ferry to the three islands, going to Parc Pallavicio, Villa Taranto and relaxing at Meina lido. It is such a beautiful area.
Pleasant hotel and well located. Friendly staff. Room a little tired and main staircase carpet was grubby.
However, our triple room was clean and comfortable for a one night stay on our European road trip.
We arrived late in the evening, and all places were closed, but the receptionist recommended we try a nearby restaurant on the small neighbouring caravan site which provided us with a tasty salad and some beers.
Simple breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake. Okay for a one night stay!
Hotel with rooms that offer view of the lake. Even though they do not have airconditioning in the rooms, the ceiling fans worked fine. I was there during one of the hottest t weeks and it was fine. Noisy road but it did not bother me. The beds were fine. Extra pillow and sheets in the closet. The rooms have everything you need, all the basics, cleaned ans towel change every day- super friendly and honest staff and good in house restaurant
Villa Preziosa was a cute and comfortable B&B in Lesa. The owner, Giuseppe was very nice and gave good recommendations on what to do in the area. The rooms were quiet with good views of the fog-covered mountains. There was a shared kitchen so it was nice to be able to cook. Next door is a supermarket so that was convenient. The train station is a few minutes walk away and the train takes you to nearby towns such Arona and Stresa.
The apartment is spacious, modern, well-equiped and clean. it is well secured. The host had prepared some groceries for breakfast, and a supermarket is nearby. Lesa is a good place to stay without the bustle of the busier towns, but it requires transportation to travel along the Lago Maggiore. Stresa can be reached after a short drive. In the small town of Lesa, there are some excellent location restaurants (some on the lake).
Very welcoming and accommodating. Made us feel very at home. Lovely garden and very clean small pool to relax beside. This is a villa and not a faceless hotel. Room had small balcony to share a drink with a view. Useful refrigerator outside bedroom and some complimentary refreshments (plus our beer and wine). Insisted on transferring our bags to the station for us which, whilst not far, was welcome in the heat.
Funny way for a night !
Very friendly owner and nice and welcoming bar for the breakfast
Surprizingly, this was a very good sleep, light waves perfect for a rock, no noise at all.
Wifi in the boat for the morning news.
As a summary, we selected this offer as we did not find any traditional accommodation, but this was a very nice surprise we will remember much longer than a perfect hotel
We reserved the room for Aries Hotel (2*) but it was closed so were send to Hotel Primavera in Stresa (3*). All our comments are for Hotel Primavera. We received a room at same conditions as we booked, so lucky for us.
Excelent position, in the middle of Stresa, very nice room and staff, rich breakfast.
Very nice and comortable. The hosting family was so kind and helpful that you felt they were friends. Kitchen equipment, aircond, beds was better then we expected to a very low price. We would definatly be back if we go back to Lago Maggiore and Lesa
