We have welcomed you for over half a century. Brothers Raffaele and Giuseppe Salmaso arrived in Venice in 1951. These were years of hardship , away from their families, which nevertheless inspired a tradition which still remains to this day. A few years later they were reached by their wives Tosca and Savina and they made Venice their adoptive city. Nowadays, their passion for welcoming and for the restaurant industry passed on to their offspring Renato, Giovanna, Stefania and Andrea, enable the Salmaso family to directly manage their hotel activity.

Our Venice apartments are located on the first and second floor of a little and cut "palazzetto". It is independent and in a delightful corner of peace and tranquillity at only few steps for the elegant heart of Venice

only few steps for the elegant heart of Venice: Via XXII Marzo, a street that hosts many of the most exclusive and well known shops in the world (Bulgari, Fendi, Gucci, Ferragamo, etc.) as well as elegant hotels such as The Gritti Palace, The Bauer and the Westin Europa and Regina; and is only 200 meters from Piazza San Marco. A complete restauration of the building, and the external and internal, have been ended only in November 2006. The attention dedicated to the smallest details of the apartment is equal to that of the restoration of the building itself. The furniture was well chosen as was everything else to make a stay here both pleasing and unforgettable. (The linens for the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen, the phone, iron and ironing board, cleaning supplies and portable telephone with a rechargeable phone card, available to our guests.)
