公司信息
Our guesthouse, Torricini Skyline, is a family-run business. One of the reasons that we have started our business is due to the fact that we are genuinely passionate about Urbino with its history, its wonderful art legacy, its magnificent museums, churches and buildings, and its gorgeous countryside and gentle rolling hills. Urbino with its stunning Ducal Palace was one of the most important centres of the Italian Renaissance and it continues to enchant all who come to see it. We want you to come and share in the beauty and harmony of this special town, which has also been recognised as a Unesco World Heritage Site.
We are overjoyed to share our love and knowledge of Urbino with all our guests and it is a true honour for us to be able to participate in creating a magical experience for all who come to enjoy this beautiful place.
The Torricini Skyline experience will be completely "contactless". You will be able to check-in by entering a code on the main door and leaving your documents at the reception; breakfast will be prepared and ready for you in the morning; and you will be able to check-out by leaving the tourist tax in your room and you room keys at the reception.
住宿信息
Our guesthouse is located in the heart of Urbino, right within the ancient walls of the "Old Town”. We've recently renovated it in the old renaissance style, with terracotta floors, exposed beams, an array of natural based paints, and it includes bathrooms and a kitchen with all modern amenities, and a decor that makes you feel as if you were living a modern day dream in old Renaissance times.
Perhaps the jewel of our guesthouse is our roof-top terrace, from which the view is truly spectacular: one can see the famous Torricini of the majestic Ducal Palace and Urbino’s entire skyline. Our terrace is accessible to all guests for either breakfast, or a drink in the evening, or any kind other relaxing activity one might think of.
We also cater to art lovers. The National Gallery of the Marche is housed in the Ducal Palace and our guesthouse also holds a collection of 'copied' famous paintings that are important, to Urbino's great artistic history, including works by Raphael, native to Urbino, as well as Piero Della Francesca and Leonardo da Vinci.
周边信息
Torricini Skyline is located in the 'centro storico' of Urbino, very close to the historical main entranceway to the city, Porta Valbona, and our windows look out upon the main street, Via Mazzini, which leads to the central Piazza Repubblica.
As we are located in within the walls of the Old Town, most of Urbino's attractions are just a short walk away. We are close to the Ducal Palace, which also houses the National Gallery of the Marches, as well as the central Cathedral with its grotto located underneath. In the vicinity, one can also visit Raphael's House, where the famous painter was born and spent his childhood, and we are mere steps away from the glorious Oratory of St. John the Baptist with its stunning frescoes carried out by the Salimbeni brothers. There are many beautiful sites to see in Urbino including other churches, oratories, piazzas, the ex-convent of Santa Chiara with its beautiful architectural structure, a botanical garden, a large park with a small fortress and spectacular view of the city, and of course there are plenty of narrow alleyways, with hidden surprises, worth seeking out as you wander the cobblestoned streets. Shops and restaurants also abound.
