Hotel Vardar  

The location is amazing! You can really get to know the city and its beauties. Rooms are furnished with such a style, and yet they are very comfortable. The food was very tasty and breakfast was very rich. Staff is very helpful. They organize airport shuttle and carry bags from and to the parking place.

Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Large comfortable room with excellent decor. Bed very comfortable. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring Kotor and close to the many evening restaurants.

The staff at Hotel Vardar were extremely helpful with all our questions about the area. The hotel was recently renovated and the bathrooms in particular are excellent. The hotel is located right inside the city walls which makes it even more special. Our room was on the 2nd floor and very quiet. Breakfast was excellent - served in a small room off the lobby. We were offered cooked to order eggs, but decided not to partake. But the pastries, toast, fruit, etc were all great. Parking is located outside the city walls, less than 5 minutes away - and is free to hotel guests. The city of Kotor is something special, nestled along side both the mountains and the bay - definitely worth a visit!

This hotel is ideally located the old town of Kotor. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. Would definately recommend this hotel to friends.

location, friendly staff, ambiance

Nice hotel right in the centre of Old Kotor. Great breakfast. Good staff, receptionist is perfect, but room should be more tidy and clean (or just need to change a carpet :) ) . Room was big and silent (3rd floor Junior suite). A/c working good. I think the hotel is overpriced, but for short stay it's ok. Restaurant was full at evening - means they have great cuisine - but because of that we were waiting for tea and botle of the beer for 15 mins... Overall - nice place if you don't have tidy budget.

The location of the hotel is perfect - right in the centre of the old town of Kotor. The refurb has been carried out to a good standard making the rooms luxurious & everyone seems to like the bathrooms. A good selection for breakfast - though sometimes in short supply, but always able to ask for more (just a couple of yoghurts available for a family of 5 for example). The location is also not bad for making trips out to the beach or other areas of the bay if you have a car. We stayed 4 nights & were able to fill our days to just the right measure.

Raining when we arrived & had to carry the luggage from the car park out of town. The weather cannot be helped of course & the whole place looked much better when the sun shone the next day. The car park is free for hotel guests & handy just around the corner from the old town gates.

Unfriendly welcome. Did not help us with bags between car parking and hotel (300+ yards in 30c heat)
