This former farm has been remodeled into 4 bedrooms and a living area which offers bed-and-breakfast rooms with free Wi-Fi and countryside views. De Sternhof features spacious grounds with a garden and barbecue terrace. Harderwold golf club is just over a 5-minute car journey from De Sternhof. The centre of Harderwijk is 10 minutes’ drive away. Almere and Zwolle can both be reached within 30 minutes by car. Each of the rooms at Sternhof comes with a TV, extra-long beds and a seating area. They also have a bathroom with a shower. Guests can make use of the communal kitchen. Free private parking facilities are available on site.

It is wonderful living here: the vastness, the beautiful skies, the animals on and above the yard (various birds) and the enthusiastic guests who come here in the b & b, on the campsite, as a party guest, the barefoot guest, the participant in the daytime activities or the passer by bike ... everything makes it a beautiful green and healthy place.

De Sternhof is a former farmhouse bought in 2006. Respect for nature, the principles of sustainability, environmental awareness and organic agriculture are the green thread in thinking and doing. Since 2008, luxury B&B rooms with various other spaces have been located on the 2.5 hectares of land, near the town of Harderwijk (6.5 km). During the week there is a small-scale daytime activity for the elderly of the SternZorg Foundation in the general areas. They work in the vegetable garden for the food bank Harderwijk, make soup and jam or work in their own workshop. This gives the yard a cozy, warm atmosphere. You will also love the flowers and herbs on the tables and in your room. Oh, and don't forget to walk over the barefootpath from May till October. With or without shoes, you will love it for a 45 minutes. Just ask the owners about it!

Impormasyon ng neighborhood

The surroundings of the Sternhof are wonderfully green and varied: from pasture and forest to water (Veluwemeer and Wolderwide). The beaches in the area are wonderful and easily accessible. Because we are on the border of the new and old land, you can go to the moors and the old forests with large sand drifts, or just the new forest Horsterwold with the Stille Kern with its wild horses and walkways. Eating out of course to Pancake Farm Hansel & Gretel on the road! Or eat fish Harderwijk Haven or Greek at the Zeewoldse haven ... so a lot of choice. De Sternhof is 7 km from Harderwijk and 9 km from Zeewolde. No, it is not all bare here, opposite the Harderwold forest there you can enjoy hiking. The bird watching huts in the area are also recommended! Cycling in the area is wonderful with various junctions, short and long routes, ferries across the water and beaches.
