The apartment building is right next to the Lublin Union Sq. where you can grab brunch at one of the many cafes like Cafe Nero or Być Może. The square is home to the "City Shopping" department store with over 70 establishments that include clothing stores, restaurants, a food court, cafes, a fitness club, dry cleaning and other services (e.g. a nail spa and a Jean Louis David hairdressing studio). It also houses a big and well-stocked grocery and convenience store. A five minute walk will take you to a tiny Oleandrów St. with funky boutiques and craft beer bars. Take an 8 minute walk along Marszałkowska St. (or a 4 minute one-stop tram ride) to the neighboring Savior Square - Warsaw's Washington Square of sorts - where bars and restaurants entertain mainly young crowds till late evening hours. If you need some exercise, the apartment building borders a sports center where for 4.5 USD you can enjoy swimming in a modern semi Olympic size pool. For walks, running and open-air culture take a 7 minute stroll to a beautiful and historic Łazienki Park where in the summer you can listen to live piano performances of Chopin's music played under a famous monument of Chopin. All in all, you'll be in the best spot in town from which you can easily explore the touristy downtown center (the Old Town is around 20 mins by tram), but enjoy a more quiet south center location in the evenings.
