Breakfast is good and tasty. The restaurant room is decorated much much better than the bedroom…Location is ok. Only a few minutes walk to the city centre. And nighttime is quiet. Receptionist is always helpful.

Tozeur is a great place to explore the desert (Mos Espa and Ong Jmal areas). The oasis is great for walks, medina is quite nice and relaxed, and there is Dar Cheraït museum - probably the most extravagant museum I ever visited (in particular the journey through Tunisian history).

Tozeur is a city far in the southwest of Tunisia close to the border of Algeria. It has the biggest palm forest in Tunisia where you can walk or ride a bike.
It is a must visit destination for Star war lovers because of Mos Espa, a tour worth having.
There are also two oasis as well as two flooded villages worth visiting Tamerza and Chebika.
Be careful as some tours won’t allow you to visit Tamerza.
The private tour with locals in Chebika it’s a waste of dinars 😂. Walk around Chebika on your own. It’s the same thing and you will enjoy it nonetheless.
The cascade it’s not a big deal for european travelers but as water is rare to find in places near the desert, for locals its supposed to be a super nice sightseeing. It is included in all tours so just enjoy it.
Finally I believe that two days are more than enough for Tozeur. So it’s better to book a day tour that includes all the destinations mentioned above (the oasis , Midas canyon -only for photos and Mos espa and Ong jemel) and have one day left which is more than enough too, to explore the city.

Excellent location and facilities and very pour service.
Excellent location and facilities and very pour service. The service and the availability of the items on the menue were deceiving. Most drinks were missing. Poor understanding of orders and the content. And the most appalling is that some staff didn't even bother responding to our requests and when complaint they informed us that the concerned staff will contact us which ofcourse never happened. This hotel is an amazing shell without content.

I went there for Star Wars, and got soooo much more out of the place. Our guide took us around and we saw things I never dreamed of Mother Earth or (wo)man being able to produce. It was amazing. Chebika, desert, Tameza, climbing the camel and I can continue...
In Tozeur the center is normal Tunisian buzzing without being agressive-buy-from-me.
Had some trouble finding a nice place to eat, but the food we found was high quality and the prices absolutely agreeable.

The spirit of adventure is in Tozeur.
The spirit of adventure is in Tozeur. There are many activities to fill a few days of your schedule, it is far from cities yet there is an airport to fly to from the capital Tunis or Sousse. I would recommend this place to other travellers. People are very friendly and if you ask for help, they are there to offer it. The owner of my hotel Tozeur Residence Almadina, was nice enough to prepare a packed lunch for me when I left early in the morning. Thank you for doing that!

beautiful property in a quiet area out of town. we had a beautiful en suite room with a massive comfortable bed. we had tv and excellent WiFi.
Taieb and Fatima made us very welcome and both offered to pick us up and dropped us at the bus station when we left.
Fatima’s breakfast was delicious and the majority of things were home
made.
Taieb gave us loads of excellent advice both for our time in Tozeur and for our onward journey.
more a home stay than a hotel which was very enjoyable and comfortable
I liked my stay at the hotel. Everything was pretty average, the room was OK, breakfast basic and the public areas nice. Swimming pool was a great extra which I used several times. Hotel is located next to the oasis, so it is nice to see palm trees and more green in the surroundings! I recommend taking a quick tour to the oasis with one of the horse carriages to see the plants, more closely! Would recommend if price/quality ratio matches well comparing to other choices!
Clean and comfortable room with private bathroom. Nice breakfast. Helpful owners who will help you to organize activities and plans in the area and for fair prices. They also helped us with laundry, and all kinds of advice! It's a few min from the city center so you can rest (also with working AC). Totally recommended to foreigners traveling to the South of Tunisia.
The hotel is just beautiful. All the photos are like in reality so you won’t be surprised. The building is historic and has plenty of tiny rooms and doors like in a castle. There’s a library and in the courtyard there’s a pool with a turtle. Owners were friendly and spoke good English. Breakfast was also nice.
Such a beautiful hotel, a real paradise. Didn't have the history of some of our other stays, but had the luxury. We liked it so much, we changed our plans (incurring a non-refundable night's stay) to stay an extra night here. Staff are so helpful, and we had the whole resot to ourselves with one other couple.
This hotel is fantastic. The young guy who works at the front desk is one of the best hotel employees I've ever interacted with - just such a nice, helpful, and friendly guy. He helped me book a tour of the sites around Tozeur for a great price and did everything he could to make sure my stay was great.
Tozeur is a very genuine bereber city. It is very near he door of the desert. Thus it was a place very different for us. But, Hedi, the owner of the apartment was infinitely helpful, friendly and responsible. The trips to other places were magical. Each day it was a very special adventure.
The super friendly lady who was sick, still made the effort to clean all of the apartment even after we booked it last minute. This amazing service and the fact that the apartment itself is very spacious makes it an amazing choice for a stay in Tozeur!
Room was nice and the hotel staff was very helpful. I had an issue getting to the hotel where my train was delayed, and I almost got stuck in a town over. Hotel staff was incredibly helpful.
Breakfast was also good. Room was large and beautiful.
Best of both worlds: clean facilities and decor of a nice hotel, human touch of a guest house. The owner and staff are lovely and extremely accommodating. We had a very late arrival and departure and they were extremely helpful. Lovely people
Great location right in the middle of town. The room was clean and comfortable. The rooftop hotel was a cool atmosphere. Staff was very friendly. They even helped us book a local tour. Breakfast was adequate.
Amazing place in Tozeur, like a small palace with excellent aesthetic and very clean. The owner was super friendly and welcoming and the room was very comfortable. Totally recommended!
The hotel is very beautiful and the staff is very attentive. We had a problem with the door in the room and the hotel staff upgraded us because of the trouble. It was a nice stay!
