All excellent. Can't wait to return. A little slice of heaven.
It's an amazing place. the position is great and the structure is completely in line with the natural spirit of small village. Personnel is so respectful and even i was a lonely girl they've never disturb me. They know that people are going to kabak just to relax.
The staff, the food the location and the tranquility at a reasonable price
The walk back to the dolmus stop
“Timeless escape” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW via mobile The Olive Garden. Kabak I am almost tempted to not post this report because selfishly I want the Olive Garden to remain a secret location for as long as possible and only accessible to those that find it quite by chance or fate. High up in the hills away from Oludeniz this Ottoman Shangri-La is the perfect respite for those that are seeking tranquility and calm. Your accommodation will consist of a timber 1-3 person bungalow lovingly constructed by the owner and built on timber stilts so that each unique structure is accessed by a small flight of steps. Everyone of the 14 basic bungalows overlook the most stunning coastal panorama and the cool breeze from the sea far below helps to take away the heat of the day during the hot summer months. The pool is well maintained and the surrounding area has plentiful covered areas with seating and cushions for all. I strongly recommend that you take advantage of the half board the food is fresh very tasty and always appealing .I particularly recommend the traditional Turkish breakfast . If you arrive at night the trip up the mountain can seem like forever and the small track off the road when you arrive at your destination might make you wonder if your in the right place..But when you awake in the morning and open the door to your bungalow it is then that you will realise that you have found a little bit of heaven on earth. Do not come if you want to party or use it as a base for trips out every night . Everything here is spotlessly clean and cared for and the staff are excellent and attentive. There is also free wifi around the poolside and eating areas if you must be connected. You will be welcomed as a new family friend and be better for the experience that you have here. Steve Jo and 2 happy teenagers. Stayed July 2014, travelled with family
The location is great, the staff is very kind, the swimming pool and the garden are very nice and the food is simply delicious.
Having more space available in the shade during the day.
The scenery was quite simply idylic - so much so i cried when the taxi came to pick us up Food was lovely - we only stayed for 2 days but it was different each day Staff were very hospitable and friendly rooms were basic but nothing more needed really lovely walk down to the beach very tranquil
more mosquitos than we had experienced in Oludinez but just make sure you take precautions
A truly scary ride going up to kabak if you don't like heights well worth it though stunning views excellent staff warm welcome absolutely fantastic a gem of a place
Location and service
Comfort of matress
Beautiful everything- from the echoes from the mountain and the air of morning through every aspect to the food, wine and staff.
Leaving though Istanbul has it's merits too
the food, views and general setup of the site
no wifi access in the cabins
The location. the staff. the cabin. the pool.
Set menu...no choice what so ever.
Fantastic location. Views amazing. Excellent food. Highly recommended.
Location - view- spectacular
Mostly vegetarian meals- not a vegetarian
Amazing location, just in the middle of nowhere, immersed in nature. Additionally, the food is excellent, breakfast as well as dinner are always supreme and abundant.
Not a dislike, more a comment: the bungalows are quite basic, and they are not heated, so for us end of march it got quite cold at night.
The food. We stayed for 3 days and the menu for breakfast and dinner was different everyday...and all a high standard. The location. The "laid-back" atmosphere.
The food was very good. Common areas are beautiful and relaxing (pool, bar,...) and with great views of the beach and the sea.
The view is amazing. The dinner is great. We are vegeterians and it was no problem. Wwe told the staff at our first day about it and they switched every meal for us in a vegeterian meal. All of them were delicious.
You have to know that there is just the hotel in kabak and a very small market. There is nothing else around. Unfortunately there was no breakfast buffet, they serve one plate with selected things an bread.
Location was beautiful and chalets were basic but clean. Evening meal was very good
We were in a group so bit disappointed when everything shut down at 22.30, felt like we were forced to bed early
Kabak is awesome. Such a peaceful place in the mountains with awesome views over the coast. Olive Garden is just the paradise. Basic but clean wooden houses, tasty food, really nice staff and the chance of staying in the pool with beathtaking views over mountains and sea.
Delicious dinner and breakfast, great view and very clean.
This is a wonderful place to slow down and unwind for couples and families with older children. The day is punctuated by the movement of the sun, meals, playing backgammon, and watching the tortoises and chicks. We expected rustic, but the pool and dining area were much nicer than anticipated and the grounds were very well kept. The set-course meals were excellent. The staff were kind and helpful. The trek to the beach, 20-25 minutes down a step trail was fun for us, but is not for kids under 7 or those with mobility or health issues. During our visit, our child developed a lymph node infection from mosquito bites. The owner was helpful in getting us to a doctor in Ölüdeniz and offering a new room with a mosquito net. Most of the larger cabins do not have nets, so either bring your own or make special arrangements with the owner.
Mosquito nets are not in all rooms.
the staff were delightful, the food was amazing and the location second to none.
the children on the Sunday taking over the pool area
Staff were very nice, food was lovely, rooms were basic but had all we required. Pool and views were stunning. Walks were great if a little steep. We will definatley return and reccomend this place, it was so peaceful. :)
The upkeep of the pool decking area was not great whilst we stayed and I tore a deep gash into my heel whilst walking to the shower during my stay on a nail that was sticking ouy of the sun warped decking. This nail was quickly nailed down however many more remained proud of the decking. This would not deter me from staying again, however be careful.
Spectacular position/views. Food was fabulous. Lovely chill spots!
