The only thing I liked was the location

The Hotel needs to train the staff properly. The supposed hot dishes for breakfast were always cold. The Hotel quotes in Euros but when you pay the bill you pay in Turkish Lira.They dont allow you to pay in Euros with your credit card. Are they now currency dealers and take more money on transactions?

very nice hotel design. warm and attentive staff. small size but comfortable environment. nice breakfast. i complained about the noise from back and was upgraded to a much nicer room on the inner courtyard which was quiet.

rooms facing the back are noisy on friday, saturday nights. bathrooms in the standard rooms are a bit tiny, ok for one person but a bit tight if sharing.

The staff of Pera tulip is courteous and helpful.Its closely located from Istiklal.

The hotel is truly at the top of the 'design boutique' hotels I have stayed at. Although it is quite small, the interior has been designed so as to give the impression of a maximum of space and light. I was fortunate to have a great room with a fantastic view of the Bosphorus. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The television was a bit slow

Excellent facilities for the price, clean-comfortable. Staff does a very good job--very responsive. Location is within walking distance of a major shopping area and fine art museum. This is a good, all-purpose hotel with reasonable charges.

the first room we were given was so small but they did on the second night transfer us to a bigger room not large but adequate for a city hotel

Fine decoration, beautiful lobby, rich breakfast, friendly staff

nothing too much....maybe only the location and the comfortable slipper

the gym and sauna is small and dirty, sauna is not working. room and bathroom too small, , poor design, not practical, always need to wait for long for the lifts, the quilt is so small that not for 2 people. luckily they give you 2, so my husband and i were using one douvet for each. breakfast is very boring, staff are quite dull, dont pay attention on you. service is quite poor.

We picked the Pera Tulip for its location-metres away from Istiklal street-the beating heart of Istanbul. The hotel is beautifuly and carefully designed, in an old, typical Pera building renovated with love. I can't stress enough how gorgeous the interior design is; it is a joy to stay in such a hotel, it felt like a jewel box-and packed with all the facilities and little touches you might honeslty need for a city week-end stay (try the spa/swiming pool. It might seem small at first, but it's perfect), and the breakfast spread is lavish (although quite turkish, but then again, if you go to Istanbul, try a bit of local-you can have bacon and baked beans when you return home)

The only map available at reception could be yours for the "measly" price of 5 Turkish Lira. Not too much, but it was a road map of the whole Istanbul-they should have a small map of the area around, free for guests-even if it is just a photocopied page.

Generally everything was very good, room was very clean, breakfast great, staff very helpful, location very good.

Only negative was a smell like mold in the bathroom, which however was very clean.

Rooms very nice but small,Breakfast was very good.

I was suprised at the clean efficient service and location.

The Restaurant needs to be improved.

Being able to get served choice food up to 01.30a.m.in their Restaurant and free Buffet Breakfast.

Whilst the wet room and toilet area was chic and modern it came at the price of Practicability. e.g. no shelving for toiletries; no soap dispenser in wet room or restricted area to place shaving gear around modern bowl & tap, washbasin.
