Cleaning of the room can improve. Eg. on the free drink in the room, I found it has some condensed milk on it. For sure, it's not from me, and the staff who put it there should really see that. I moved the chair in the room because we have small kids, and I found rubbish behind those chair. If you can change the carpet floor to wood floor will help.
Good room size for this price. I love the neighborhood, it's kind of old style Taipei which I enjoy, close to Metro. Fantastic breakfast and free facility. Staff try to help and nice. Toilet of our room is very clean.

Air conditioning may not work too well and it was too damp in the room. Pillows are not too comfortable.
Excellent location - close to shopping and good resturants. Breakfeast spread is excellent.

Sound isolation between rooms could be better. Slow, unstable wifi

You really can't have a perfect room. There are a few things wherever you go, that got a small problem, but they promptly comply to my request. Overall, i will give a 9.5 rating.
Free wifi for my two teenage kids. Breakfast was nice, room was spacious enough, toilet (w/sauna) and toiletries are complete. All their claims are true.

The hotel was nicely situated in a lively street very close to the subway a good starting point to explore Taipei . The staff was extremely friendly

We stipulated a higher floor, non-smoking room, the room we were condemned to was on a low floor & had obvious smoke stinks, with a deodorizing/air purifying gismo working overtime, but to no effect, only making loud noises and blowing dusts. Water was dripping from the floor above wetting the carpet, luckily not at where we sleep or sit. Changing room appeared to be out of the question, the staff's attitude seemed firm & nonnegotiable. We paid ~usd 110 per night for 4 nights stay, the running neon ad sign in front of the hotel was for ~usd70 & up per night. Our window was facing an old building a meter away. We obviously had the worse room in the house. The worst thing however is the suffocating stale turbid air, that's obvious the moment we stepped into the room. We could hardly breathe. We tried stay away as much as we could...nonetheless, we developed a cough...Just coming from a true 4 star hotel, on the 26 floor, with harbor view, and paid ~usd90 per night in Hong Kong, the contrast is stark.
24 hour coffee machine, snack in room, wifi

The only negative about the hotel is the lack of windows. On our first night, we had a room with no windows which was a bit odd, so we changed to a room with a tiny window.
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The location of the hotel was great, it was very convenient to get to the metro station (5mins). The room was very big, and spacious, ideal for three people to stay in. We particularly liked the bathroom as it came with an electric toilet. In addition, the free breakfast was also good, and the service was great. I would definitely recommend it.

1) Bed was a bit hard but guest were able to request for memory form bed.2)Daily bf was at the basement with no lift access. 3)Emergency/fire exit door was left open, felt hotel was not secure. 4)Location was near a hospital, hence on a daily basis, can hear the ambulance siren. 5)Hair dryer in located in the room hence once baby is asleep, drying of hair will wake the bb up. 6) Hotel fees had to be paid upon check in.
There were eateries around the hotel, Staff were pleasant and friendly, free daily snack and fruit bar in the room (Cup Noodles, Chips, cookies, water, seasonal fruits). Good hotel room essentials (Bed room slippers, toiletries) Multiple hp chargers available in the room. Big room size that comes with working desk.

The bed mattrass was very hard, but you can get a free foam (which we noticed too late)
Great location, close to MRT. Rooms aren't large but very comfortable and practice. Chargers for mobile and iPad all over the hotel. Free float of water, snacks and fruit. Very friendly staff and nice breakfast.

Dirty carpet. Wish the staff was more friendly.
We arrived at ttia, turned left after luggage claim, went down a floor to b1, got bus tickets for Kuo Kuang for TWD125/adult, one way, an hour journey. Driver helped to store luggage at bus compartment, asked us our destination and we said The Ambassador Hotel. Piece of cake. Got down OPPOSITE The Ambassador Hotel, crossed the road and walked 5 mins to Yomi. If you're not sure, ask the people there, it's just a few doors to Pizza Hut. Pros: 1) good location, 7 mins walk to Shuang Lian MRT station. Bought easycard at the station on day 1, used it many times during our 5-day stay (MRT, buses and Maokong Gondola), returned the card on the last day and got back the balance money, minus TWD20 for admin fee 2) it has everything that one needs and more, seriously. Pocket WiFi requires TWD500 refundable deposit. Change battery at the reception every morning. Self service laundry room has a few washers and dryers. Tea, coffee, cordial drinks are available all day, for free. 3) we got deluxe room; good space for 2 persons. Wanted to get the VIP room which is slightly more expensive only but very spacious. Unfortunately, all VIP rooms are next to the lift, not good for a light sleeper like me. Oh, new ear plugs are provided too, in the bedside table's drawer. 4) room was clean. Bed was on the hard side, like most have commented but I was OK with it. Room was cleaned, sheets and towels changed, free snacks and bottled water provided daily. 5) mini fridge in the room, if u wanna store some beers bought from the many mini markets nearby, very cheap! 6) many shops nearby, from pharmacy to restaurants. 7) Hotel provides its map and the surrounding. That's our bible for 5 days! Very useful. Try the things recommended there. We explored 2 pineapple cake shops around the area, bought 12 boxes from one of them! We prefer the pastry shop opposite The Ambassador Hotel. 8) try the muachi recommended in the Hotel map, it's awesome!
