Fell in love with the location and I want to go back. Sad to leave, but all good things with a vacation come to an end. I am glad I stayed central to the town. Loved the local art gallery and artist there.

Beautiful tiny city in a short ride to Yosemite, amazing and friendly locals always ready to help. don't forget to bring the chains if you travel to Yosemite. Stores in the area could be short of tire chains of the price won't make you happy.

Oakhurst is just 16 miles from the southern entrance to Yosemite. That entrance is closest to the Mariposa Grove of Big Trees. The Valley and waterfalls are another 45 minute drive. Oakhurst has a great selection of restaurants, antique stores and friendly people. The selection of rooms is less expensive and easier to book than Yosemite. During the season, there is also YARTS bus system taking visitors to Yosemite (there is a fee). This makes it easier so you don't have to fight traffic, search for parking or have a park reservation.

We found Oakhurst to be a friendly town whether in local restaurants, visitor center, drug stores, and grocery stores. Oakhurst has a quaint, small town feel to it. Close to Yosemite activities and Yosemite National Park.

The place was not quiet.
The place was not quiet. On the second night there were people next door and I could almost hear them breathe. Plus I booked two nights based on the "reduced rate" of $79 but was then billed for extras. I would not have booked this had the cost been up front. Shame on Booking.com for not being transparent. When I complained to Booking.com I was told there was no refund. I wont book either of them again.

The hotel is clean and you can walk to restaurants and other facilities nearby.Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Oakhurst...we're stayed here and the breakfast was simple but delicious and the coffee was good too. There are several delicious restaurants nearby where you can have dinner.
30 minutes from the hotel to the national park entrance
It takes about 1 hour and 20" from the entrance to the center of the national park.
The location was very good. The restaurants, markets and gas stations are just few minutes walk. The room was big with a good bath tub. The pool was also good. The staff was very helpful and they guided us a lot for our trip to Yosemite. The Southern Entrance of Yosemite is only 10-12 kms from this place. We came a bit late and my five year old daughter asked for milk and the staff arranged the milk quite late in the night. That was highly commendable. The free parking at the hotel site is plenty and quite safe.
We stayed in the hotel at occasion of our visit at Yosemite. The hotel is places near all the services of Oakhrust and 1h from the park. The room exceeded our expectations as it was big and the one bed we had was big and comfortable. It is not on the road so you don't hear the cars in the room. You can hear birds which more than apreciable. In addition, the staff is very nice and friendly. We also enjoyed the "cold" breakfast with oatmeal, cereals, bagels, fruits and coffee.
This is a very tiny cottage, or a hut. It has everything you need except for space for your personal belongings. It is relatively close to the Yosemite park and it is both quiet and yet close to the road. It is within a short drive to the Oakhurst town. It was clean, private, with fully equipped kitchenet. We enjoy our time there and would definitely recommend the place.
Very modern, clean, spacious and comfortable room. Very comfortable beds, but this is always very subjective. I like a hard bed. These very a bit on the soft side, but still comfortable.
Oakhurst is becoming more than a stopover place, with plenty of restaurants, shops and hotels. We found a really good mexican restaurant called Plazuelas.
What a beautiful place! Location is great (as close to Yosemite as it gets, really), rooms are so cozy and warm. Hotel itself has an amazing history and you can feel it.
Incredibly friendly stuff, really really good breakfast, the town itself is a great place to be in.
We are certainly coming back, so many fond memories :)
Thank you
lovely inn, very few guest rooms, a quiet place in a quiet town. Perfect spot as “base camp” if you’re visiting Yosemite NP. Well cleaned, well maintained, staff is super friendly. If you don’t care about being served breakfast, it beats every hotel chain in Oakhurst. Super recommended!
The room was spacious and clean. Good location - 25 minutes from Yosemite and near good restaurants, a supermarket, and other services like laundry. It was great using the hotel hot tub after a day of hiking in Yosemite. The staff was helpful and nice.
Great location in Oakhurst - only a few minutes walk from the local restaurants and cafes. Breakfast selection is amazing, with pancakes, omelettes, sausages, muffins and so much more! And it's run like clockwork alone by an amazing single person!
Wonderful value. The king suite room is huge, with a very comfortable bed. Overall, I think this is the best value for a hotel in the Oakhurst area, and even has free parking (although no EV charging) unlike the others in the area.
The location is very good to visit Yosemite (only 25 minutes drive to mariposa grove) and near Oakhurst (5 minutes drive) where you can find many restaurants or grocery stores. The hotel was clean.
Very well located within the town and only 15 minutes from the South Yosemite National Park. Supermarkets and places to eat very near the hotel. I recommend it when visiting Yosemite and the area.
It’s a brand new hotel with an excellent location, just 20 min away from Yosemite National Park entrance, close to restaurants and stores, super convenient stay, definitely will be back there
