United StatesReally nice staff, great accommodations, smells awesome the moment you walk in. I know that sounds weird but the place smells really clean and fresh. Also nice coffee station right at reception, there day and night. Netflix streams on big tv which is a nice touch. Bed is comfortable and you have elaborate control on the temp and fans. They say cats and dogs welcome... never heard cats welcome, but we have three so if we ever need to evacuate, we're coming here.

Lots of sunshine and temperatures that allow for swimming several months of the year. The city can be hot during months of June through October, so pack accordingly. The Zoo is a great atrraction and the close travel times to Yosemite and the Sequoia National Parks make Fresno an attractive stay while visiting these parks. Multiple casinos are also within minutes for those interested.

Fresno was a stop along the route from Chico to Los Angeles.
Fresno was a stop along the route from Chico to Los Angeles. I am a researcher, so I looked for what was "best" to do in Fresno. The number one response was the Forestiere Underground Gardens - Fabulous. While on tour, our docent told us about the historic buildings in Downtown including the Meux Victorian home. Since we were just breaking our 9 hour drive with a night in Fresno, we didn't have time to visit. Next time, we will explore the Downtown.

My favorite things are Forrestiere Underground Gardens, the laid back atmosphere, some of the people were very chill, good restaurants like Town Oak, Basque Restaurant, Old Fig Garden, Japanese Gardens, Wooward Park, Christmas tree row, the exquisite sequoia, pine, cedar trees, Van Ness Avenue, Palm Ave, East Shaw West Shaw, downtown Fresno, the sculptures, art galleries, the laundry mat- Dirty Bird, and its close to Kingsburg where there's a good Mexican deli, and so close to Yosemite, Sequoia National Park.

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel.
I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The bathroom made extremely loud noises throughout the night, which made it impossible to sleep. The front desk staff were unhelpful and had a poor attitude. The room was old, not properly cleaned, and had an unpleasant smell. They even forgot to provide basic items like body wash.
The staff told me that a manager would contact me on Monday, but no one ever reached out. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Honestly my reason for visiting Fresno is because I grew up there and still have family there. If your are going to go for a concert or to visit family its okay if not don't go there is really not much to do in Fresno.

This property needs to be updated. The rooms are dated. I also recieved an erroneous charge after having stayed there over two weeks ago!
I was told at checkout that everything was fine. I had no charges to to room nor was there any damage to the property.
All was well.
Mow, TWO WEEKS later, I was billed 3.38 for some erroneous charge at 4:38 am Fri Sept 3rd. I called almost immediately to inquire about this charge.
I spoke to Jennifer at the the front desk and she said it was a charge that quote the girls forgot to charge to my final bill!
Not buying it!!
I checked out of that property on Sept 14th!
She even claimed the charge was listed on the Booking.Com site.
The problem is, when I booked the room through the Booking.com site, all taxes AND Fees were included in the price!!
Jennifer said she would remove the charge but it shouldn't have been on there in the first place because it was included when the room was booked.
She asked for name and said she would remove it. If not, I'm going to contact corporate!
I don't buy her story!
I have NEVER had any fees charge two weeks after a stay at ANY hotel and I've been travelling for decades!!

Hotel and room was clean and front staff was super nice and welcoming. And for ones, front staff actually asked, if we are going to use the sofa bed and gave me extra sheets to take to the room. But I needed to make the bed by myself, but I didn’t really mind that. But extra towel for the 5th person I needed to fetch later. But even in much more expensive hotels there are no extra sheets/ready made 5th bed or that extra towel ready in the room, although I always book for 5 people.

The motel is located near the exit of the freeway, and Fresno is located conveniently near Yosemite. So it’s a reasonable place to stay for those who are just looking for a clean bed and a hot shower for the night when they are passing through. The room was simple, clean and well kept.
