Clean, historic hotel. Good location. Walkable to good shopping, cafes and restaurants
Elevator was loud. Front desk staff not friendly . Parking very expensive
The room was very nice, executive king. The staff was great. The food a the restaurant was excellent.
It was pretty much in the heart of union square. A bit noisy but for the most part a well worth it hotel
The beds were pretty squeaky. And the noise level a little high but again it was nicely staff and the size of the room for a weekend get away was perfect
This hotel is in a GREAT location!! WE love hanging out at the Ferry Landing and the Union Square area, and this hotel was perfect for theses locations!!!
Well, just about all of the older remodeled hotels are not so spacious, but this is understandable due to the way San Francisco was built . . .
The age of the hotel has possibilities, but needs a re-fresh
While the hotel has some great charm due to it's age. It is not very well maintained or cleaned. The paint in my room was peeling, the shower head sprayed everywhere, the room looked overall tired.
great place, 2nd time stayed here, still good as always!
When I turned on the shower the water was brown. :-( Also, the 8th floor was under construction and the banging started at 7:00 a.m.
This hotel has the best location in downtown San Francisco.
The hotel is a little bit old and the facilities are old but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
Staff, value, atmosphere.
Directly across the street was a big hangout for very scary homeless people.
Location was awesome!
It's little too old but clean and OK. Good value for the money
Very good location in the heart of Union Square
Fitness center and the rooms were too small for my liking
The hotel is located close to shopping and transportation.
Our TV did not work the entire weekend. We asked for it to be fixed twice. We were not compensated for the inconvience and we were told there were no rooms to switch to. Also, the Wi-Fi did not work well. I could log in but the connection was too weak to use.
Most of our needs were met!
No Complimentary Breakfast!
- The location was very convenient, very central yet you can access it without being stuck in traffic. - The place is very clean -We had a coffee machine in our room, so I didn't have to go out for my coffee in the early hours. - The staff were very friendly - There is a bar at the ground floor with happy hour every day - Westfield and Bloomingdale are around the corner -Nordstrom rack is right infront of us. - Union Square is just 2 minutes walk - The rooms have windows, I hate being in a nice room but no fresh air -They also offer a bus shuttle to the airport cheaper than the bus shuttle company. -Very cheap for what we had.
-The walls are too thin - The rooms are tiny but ok. I think I was fooled but the word deluxe when I booked it.
The place is really nice and clean. Big rooms. I felt like at home. Location couldn't be better.
The restaurant in the hotel. I had for a breakfast 1 egg and a coffee and they charged me nearly $20 including tax and service charge. It is really better to eat out of the hotel. You will get much more for less.
Your customer service was excellent. The location of your hotel was great and it was walking distance to restaurants and cable cars, shopping, movies.
Your elevators are very slow and your tubs don't hold water for a bath.
Location close to downtown and market street and Mocone Hotel willing to let me change room no questions asked OK interieour
My first room was noisy Wifi was flacky The Limosine recommended by doorman was trying to rip me off in the airport
Bathroom door lock was broken
Do you want to stay in a beautiful historic hotel, centrally located at a great price? Search no more. Pickwick is it.
Sad to see so many homeless people in San Francisco.
The location is very good with respect to the center of the city, but not too far away from not very safe areas...
The windows look like they are over a century old, without blinds or any kind of insulation for noise or wind, while the street is very noisy even at night. All these make it difficult to sleep at night. The elevators are also very old, very slow and they do not have an indication inside them of the floor you are approaching... strange
We could easily walk to BART. Shopping, dining, movies all very near. A great location for those who are on foot in the city. The rooms are nice and clean.
Our room was rather dark, the lighting in the room could have been better and the rooms are also a bit small.
Good location Helpful & friendly staff
Hotel was a bit tired looking Wifi was too slow and unreliable
I really liked that it was really close to where I was going and didn't need a cab, also room was very clean
Parking is very hidden needs a better sign, first person in the front desk was very rude, the door to the bathroom would not stay shut, wifi is very slow, was asleep and check out was at 12 but had housekeeping trying to open the door at 10 knocked then proceeded to open the door good thing I left the top lock on!
