bathroom was nice, good shower, name brand soap and shampoo
expencive for what you get, parking was kind of wired. you had to check in and then drive around the block to get tho the other side of the building to park.
Lovely beds; very helpful staff - good value for money.
Couldn't get a kettle to make tea. Strange coffee machine!
location of the hotel was in middle of the city Centre and market area.
Wifi didn't work in the room...parking was very expensive.
HOTEL CLOSE TO PARKING AND CONVENTION CENTER
AC NOT ENOUGH, HAD TO OPEN WINDOWS
Location was great
Small room. We had two king beds but we litteraly had no space for our luggages.
I canled my reservation on 08/27/14 and they didn't return my money. Terrible customer service...
location is conveniently close to central streets and shopping; comfortable bed and coffeemaker in the room; friendly and helpful staff
noise level between rooms (could hear people next door talk, run water etc.), and from the street
Great location, helpful staff and comfy bed
Lifts sometimes taking a long time to arrive, wifi ok but didn't work well at busy times of day (afternoon and eve)
Location Friendliness Cleanliness
Staff were friendly and efficient. Location was extremely convenient.
Shower and taps were weak. Bathrooms small and cramped. Various background noises audible at night, inhibited a good night's sleep.
the hotel was built in 1926 and the building has a very comfortable charming atmosphere. the design throughout the hotel makes you feel like you are stepping back in time. The rooms are small compared to today's standards but they are very comfortable and cozy.
Nothing in pick wick.
hotel was older but ok
Nice hotel having character. I got beautiful room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, good bed, well functioning free wifi, and excellent coffee machine on the room!
Although it was not a problem for me, the water pressure of the shower was not too good, but I assume this is something difficult to improve, as it is probably the consequence of the age of this beautiful building.
-Right at Powell station and walking distance to Caltrain dépôt station. -Beautiful room, comfortable bed -SOMA restaurant inside the hotel where you can have a more than decent breakfast (not only a cookie and a glass of orange juice unlike most of the motels of the city I visited before). -Super friendly staff. -Working WiFi.
-A bit expensive still. -Shower was not working well, especially when the neighbour showers at the same time.
Room was constantly very noisy due to the massive aircon fans from the shopping mall outside. Wifi signal was very weak, useless - so why they advertise that thay have wifi since in reality they do not? The whole hotel looks worn out and badly looked after - it could do with a major renovation.
Terrible bar/restaurant - I would take a short walk to a different venue to eat/drink. The lure you in with offers and when you get the bill you are told you cannot get those offers because you are not sat at the right table!
The beds are comfortable and the bathroom are small but good!
Beds: he beds are comfortable and the bathroom is small but good! Internet: Impossible to use the internet! And its a very bad thing when you are a traveller in the big city and needs addresses, stores, infos, restaurant tips etc. So the really bad wifi and the problems with log in all the time effected in the bad way our trip. Smells: The smell of mold is all over the hotel and stronger close to the rooms. It's that hotels that it was probable a good hotel 20 years ago. Parking: The parking is $40 per day, which is very expensive for a hotel guest. Bottom line: It's should cost half of the price for what they charge.
Location, service, cleanliness, value.
Most staff are very accomodating
Too expensive for what it is
The charges on USA calls
Everything. Receptionists and concierge were super rude. They were like a gang from the Philippines speaking in their own language and talking down to us - very impolite! Would never recommend it to anyone. Customer service training is required..
