Didn't appreciate the maid asking my room number in the hallway as we were leaving our first day. Why would she need to know the room we were exiting 10 minutes after we checked in? Too odd.
Great location. Comfy bed/pillows.
Area seemed to be ok but on the corner of one block right turns downtown and that one block left is towards Union Square shops however this is with all of Sanfrancisco - no laundromat on property had to walk thru downtown 15min to get there. Great facility cafe when u get there. No safe in the rooms had to lock belongings in suitcases.
Room was fairly nice and clean very small we had one of the king suites or deluxe rooms on a top floor so I ensured it had most of my boxes ticked.
The Internet has a time limit. after a certain period, it shuts down.
My wife Love this place for its location, She just went nuts shopping around the area, all the big stores in one neighborhood.
Wifi didn't work. No complementary breakfast.
We had music playing while getting ready for dinner and got a noise complaint... It was 9pm
The hotel was mediocre at best. It was recommended but I wont stay here again.
The location is great.
Some rooms need a little spruce up
Great location and value very close to convention center
I think the pillows may need a bit of an upgrade.
The location is super and this place is a great value!
I got food poisoning from the sushi restaurant next door that the hotel recommends. It never appealed to me but after a long day at work I thought I would try it. Got so sick that I couldn't leave the room for 2 days. My friend called the front desk to ask them to bring me some more water and a banana but they put her on hold and hung up. When I had the energy to call myself they told me there was a store down the road. They did not care that I got sick at all. I will never stay there again.
I stay here regularly because the location is great and parking is right there so it takes no time to get your car.
i didn't like the unfriendly snobby cashiers with bad customer service, and too much high price they charged me at the end of the stay
I liked the location
breakfast not included
Walls very thin - could hear next doors party. First room offered in annex with no wifi and hot water problem. We were offered a better room, shame this was not given first!
Great location & friendly helpfull staff
a lot of homeless 2 or 3 blocks away
cost, location to Moscone center
The Wifi is a disaster: Constant disconnects, slow speeds and regular reboots (on customer request to kick others out of the network) made it unusable in the mornings and evenings. You will hear people from rooms near to you as the sound isolation is near to nonexistant. This also goes for sounds from the streets (cars and people, even on the higher floors). There was no safe in the room, so better take your valuables with you when you leave. Would not recommend for business trips if you need a quiet room at the end of the day or wifi connection for calls which you can't/don't want to do in the business center.
The service staff was helpful, friendly and considerate. General cleanliness was acceptable but the age of the building makes everything seem rather used. The location is great.
noisy, very bad wifi
Felt that the hotel is not a 4 star hotel. More like a 3 star if that. The room temp was not eailly controlled. I can hear city noise, fire trucks, police sirens, people yelling in the streets. Bathroom Window was busted and felt it was ready to fall off at any moment. I could of stayed at the Park Ave 55 for less and have better rooms. That will be my #1 choice next time Im in San Fran.
Close to the Mascone Center
Wifi a bit slow.
Beds extremely comfortable
Breakfast not included, not fair for the price.
The bed and cleanliness
I didn't like anything whatsoever about this place. Nothing, and I'd damn well better not be charged for this booking because it was totally fouled up. They first said they had no record of my reservation, then changed their story (while doing their utmost best to ignore me & show me their displeasure with my existence) saying the "system" said I was a no-show. How the Hell can one be a no-show when one doesn't have a reservation???

Almost no connection of Wi-Fi.
Room was advertised as an "Executive King Room" but was extremely small, and the bathroom minuscule.
I've never experienced such poor quality for this money.
Paid cash for parking, $40. Week later charged my card another $40 for parking. Called and asked for refund was told there's nothing they can do.
There was considerable A/C noise from machinery outside the building. Also noisy trash trucks.
Nice room, good bed. Quiet floor.
The WIFI does not work most of the time and gets interrupted very frequently. Many times does not even work.
The location is central and nice
