Location is great. Just a few blocks from the Capitol and Newseum plus you have a capital bike share station one block away!! I stayed at the Executive King Room which is really spacey, bed is comfortable, overall the room was great. Some staff is sort rude but others are quite kind. I guess it depends on your luck. Valet is extremely pricey. About 35 usd Day time fare and 46 usd overnight. Ridiculous!!! Valet is extremely pricey. About 35 usd Day time fare and 46 usd overnight. Ridiculous!!! Weather was kind of cold and we couldn't get the room to get warm

Service was excellent! The door men are kind and courteous. The Concierge was helpful in suggesting things to do. Room service was quick. The bathtub had a little bit of mold on the edges. TV flickered every 5 minutes while we tried watching a movie.

The location, near Union Station and the Capitol, Lib of Congress, Smithsonian, Building Museum. Washington Court hotel bar and restaurant were very good. Liked the Anchor Steam beer. Good service. Our room with no view. We stayed 5 nights but could not get a room with an outdoor view. Too bad.

It was a great hotel. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Excellent location, very convenient to Union Station for Amtrak and Metro conenctions. The food was good in the restaurant however it was very overpriced. $60. for a steak and 2 beers. When I got home and was looking over my credit card charges my charges were $50.00 more that what my bill stated. I have not had the time to call and see what that is about.

Excellent location... only about 10 minutes walk from the Capitol Building and the National Mall. Also only about 5-6 minutes walk from Union Station - great if, like us, you arrive in DC by Amtrak. Internet connection in the lobby was convenient - no need to spend on a room connection. Staff were helpful enough but possibly could have been friendlier and showing more empathy when we had some midnight phone calls. Essentially great value for money. Apparently, the Washington Court Hotel has recently upgraded their phone system. Great, one supposes, except that it caught us out... we received 6-7 phone calls where no one was on the other end when we picked up. This was REALLY difficult when 3 of these calls came through at 1:30 AM on two consecutive nights. Disappointingly, the staff were lacking in empathy when we tried to get to the bottom of what was causing these calls. In the end we resorted to simply leaving the phone of the hook. This soured what otherwise would have been a 5-star stay at what essentially is an excellent hotel with good value for money.

Stayed at the Washington Court on December 30th and 31s 2012. as we came for the Redskin Cowboys game. It was fairly easy to find. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bellmen and valets were always quick to help with luggage and open doors. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The pillows were awesome! The restaurant was quite pricey and didn't have a great selection of dishes. Getting our vehicle back after checking out took a very long time since they " couldn't find it". I would definitely call ahead for your car but in our case the phones in our room didn't work so we were unable to call for the car or room service.

I liked everything about the Washington Court hotel. We had stayed there a couple of years ago and had a wonderful stay so decided to spend Christmas there this year. The staff are so professional, yet so nice and the rooms are phenomenal. My grandchildren loved going back and staying there again; they especially liked riding in the glass elevator!! The hotel is located in a very safe location and close enough to enjoy all the sites downtown DC has to offer. We were close to Union Station, however, we decided to walk DC instead of ride. Although we probably walked twelve miles to see most of the landmarks, we were able to see them all because the hotel was in close proximity to all of them. Also, around the corner is Dubliners, our favorite and the very best Irish Pub and restaurant in DC. The hotel also has very fine dining, the best crab bisque ever and fabulous room service. Both times we stayed there Congress was out of session (Labor Day weekend and Christmas vacation); so our room rates were extremely low... almost half price! I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning on visiting DC. It is close enough to see all of the landmarks, the staff are incredibly friendly, food in the area is fantastic, and the rooms are just wonderful!! Luxury at a price that is affordable!
