Amazing pool on the rooftop, with a lovely bar.
The breakfast was served in the Mermaid restaurant and was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had.
Lots of options to choose from, all with a great view of the city from the outdoors siting area of the restaurant.
Room was very comfortable, the bed was really comfy too!
Room also had a desk, which was great to use the laptop.
Would definitely stay there again!

It is a perfect place to stay in HCMC when you want to explore the city. The rooftop bar is great to relax with a jacuzzi and top service from Quy and Duy. The rooms are not so big but has everything you need. The reception staff is very kind and can give good suggestions for tours. Thank you Ava, Edith and Sydney. Hope to be back some day.

I recently stayed at this quaint hotel situated in an enviable location in District 1. Despite its small size, the hotel is highly functional and offers excellent value for money. The hotel's location is its standout feature, providing easy access to key attractions in the area. However, it's worth noting that the rooms are on the smaller side, which may be a consideration for some travelers. Additionally, while the breakfast spread was adequate, it lacked some basic international dishes.
On the plus side, the staff were exceptionally friendly and always available to assist with any queries or requests. Their warm hospitality certainly enhanced my overall experience at the hotel.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a budget-friendly option with a prime location in District 1 and don't mind cozy accommodations, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

We stayed as a large group of 15 with numerous room types. The hotel was in a fantastic location, 2 mins walk from Ben Thanh market. The rooftop pool was nice but it is very shallow and small, there are 2 tiny pools too. Very crowded rooftop if busy and loud music.
The breakfast was really good and they will make fresh omelettes too. Staff were nice. I had a Zen room, which looked amazing and was large but the bathtub was oddly placed and designed, it was a hazard trying to get in it!
Situated on Thu Khoa Huan St, Silverland Yen Hotel is just a 6-minute walk to Ben Thanh Market. The hotel boasts a warm-water outdoor hot tub and steam bath facility.

Asian Tradition, French Flair and Growing Modernity
Offering a trip through delicious Vietnamese aromas, small silk shops and ancient pagodas, the streets of Ho Chi Minh City dazzle tourists with their vibrant atmosphere. Its rich culture includes beautiful French colonial palaces mixed with modern skyscrapers that show the power of Vietnam’s economic capital.
Whether you decide to visit the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the City Hall, or the Municipal Theatre, you’ll see the care shown by Saigonese people in preserving their historic legacy. On the other hand, the Haussmann-style boulevards are typically packed with small motorcycles that make every street crossing a whole new experience.
Contemporary Saigon can be seen in places like the Bitexco Financial Tower, located directly at central Ham Nghi Blvrd. Meanwhile, Saigon Centre or Zen Plaza are some of its modern shopping malls.
For a look into Vietnam’s recent history, don’t miss the Reunification Palace or the War Remnants Museum. A sunset visit to the 23rd September Park is the best way to mingle with the locals.
Indulge yourself in one of the 5-star Ho Chi Minh hotels, or stay in budget accommodation at Pham Ngu Lao Street. Don’t miss the Ho Chi Minh City accommodation deals on Booking.com before arriving at Tan Son Nhat International Airport!
We went from the madness (but excitement!) of District 1 for our first 4-day foray in HCM / Vietnam to the peace & tranquillity of Mia Saigon in District 2 for our last 4 days in Vietnam (it was like being in a completely different city) after travelling to / through Da Nang/ Hanoi, etc.
Overall, the experience was all that we'd hoped for & more! The people really do make the difference!

This was just a short stay in Ho Chi Minh City before heading to Phu Quoc. A great city for a city break with plenty to see and fantastic food and nightlife. Thai Binh market and the war museum are must see's as is just following your nose and seeing where you end up. Use Grab to and from the airport to avoid the taxi mafia.

This city gives me life! I love it.
This city gives me life! I love it. I travel here often for work and feel so at home. It’s so easy to walk around (except for the heat!) with good paths (compared to Hanoi). Amazing restaurants and bars. Beautiful park spaces - an early morning walk through these is a must…so peaceful and much cooler!
It has a great mix of modern conveniences, expensive designer and local shops. There are numerous malls which provide respite from the heat. A visit to a spa is a must - £20 for 90mins is a bargain (if you live in UK it is!!!).
For food you are spoilt for choice - from budget friendly cool spots such as Vo Roof to the slightly more pricey (though still very reasonable) Hum - their location in Vo Van Tan is stunning! There are also lots of other cuisines as you would usually find in a cosmopolitan city. Oh and 7-11 or Circle K are everywhere which is great for topping up on water and snacks!
It’s also definitely worth a visit outside the city to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Go to the larger site (there are 2) and avoid weekends if possible!

Loved the city, it is vibrant and there is always something going on. The city that never sleeps. Full of noise, smells and wonderful people... A cute boutique hotel with very friendly and helpful staff (free upgrade. Helped us to book our bus). Great location; walking distance to most of the famous landmarks of Ho Chi Minh City. Many coffee shops and great places to eat close by. The room was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Good a/c. Great wifi.
Better to arrange a pick up from the airport with the hotel; the hotel is tucked away in an alleyway so not easy to find the first time. We will definitely stay there again if we come back to Ho Chi Minh City.
The location of the hotel is perfect. It's next to the Bitexco Financial tower, which makes it close to the Ho Chi Minh Square and other interesting places. Because the hotel is in District 1, you probably can book all kinds of trips and being picked up at the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The communication in English was very easy. Breakfast was very good with all kinds of food to choose from. The swimming pool on the roof was perfect to relax after a whole day in the city.
The staff and services were excellent and couldn't be happier. The location was nice as there are numerous restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. It's also located in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City. My room was kept clean and well maintained too. I would highly recommend this Hotel.
I would like to extend my thanks to Receptions Staff Team (Phuoc, Nga, Dat, Quynh) for their helpfulness and warm hospitality.
Charming boutique hotel. The hotel is housed in a beautifully restored French colonial building and features a blend of traditional. The hotel also has a rooftop pool, a spa and a restaurant. The room was spacious and well appointed, with all the amenities eco-friendly you need for a comfortable stay. Overall, Alagon is a great choice for travelers looking for a charming and relaxing hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.
A new modern hotel in an excellent location, District 1, close to places of interest.
Our bedroom was large, it had a king size bed and a great walk in shower. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you.
The roof top bar has a great view over the city and was a nice place to have a drink in the evening. The hotel’s restaurant was excellent.
Room is pretty spacious for 2 people and is clean. Location of the hotel was right in the middle of Bui Vien street, thus very accessible if you are drinking till late. Special mention to both staffs, Van and Sang, who were very friendly and approachable from the first moment I entered the hotel! They gave me good food recommendations and places to visit within Ho Chi Minh City!
Excellent location: the very center of Ho Chi Minh City (District 1) but thanks to the fact that the building is located in the courtyard - peace and quiet. In general, the noise of the big city didn't bother at all.
Cordial and helpful owner. He helped organize everything what was needed.
Overall, staying at this apartment with an infinity pool in Ho Chi Minh City is an unforgettable experience. From the stunning views to the luxurious accommodations and exceptional service, it's the perfect retreat for anyone looking to escape the ordinary and indulge in the extraordinary.
This is the best hotel to stay in ho chi Minh city for sure, thanks to the entire team who is available for the smooth conduct of your stay....I was assured of a comfortable stay from all perspectives...I promise to be back at Nicecy boutique hotel once in back to Vietnam
Anna was great. Very quick to respond to all my questions. She was friendly and even helped me get rid of a large backpack that was ruined by the airline on the trip over to Ho Chi Minh City. The place was great, a nice pool and rooftop access for some great pictures.
A lovely little gem of a hotel, in a great spot halfway between the airport and the city (District 1). Exceptionally clean, comfortable room and bed; attentive, professional staff; very nice breakfast area. Relaxing pool area with bar, sauna and showers.
Staff were extremely helpful. We stayed in a deluxe room with balcony and found it to be quite comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and service was outstanding. The hotel is in a central location and easy to walk to many of the sites in District 1.
Excellent customer service from Long , Giang and rest of the hotel team, great central location, wonderfu daily breakfast options. Room service very efficient and clean, spotless. We would love to stay here again if we are back in Ho Chi Minh city.
The hotel is located right in the center of District 1 so it is very convenient to get around city
The room’s very clean, delicious breakfast, reasonable price
I will come back in the near future
Location of the hotel was excellent, right in the heart of district 1, the breakfast was very nice .
We got upgraded to a room with a roof terrace that had amazing views of the city
The location was in an excellent area. It was central and walkable to most attractions in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City.
