We had great views of the water from our room and the dining area. But close enough to Valdivia so that popping into town for dinner or sightseeing was easy.

It's not a hotel but is a large house on a river, which flows in the backyard. It's really clean, the owner is exceptionally nice and leaves you alone when that is appropriate, and the room is comfortable. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Valdivia. Also, the bus stops by often to take you to the town center. Excelsior.galloYoung couple

She kindly allowed us to leave our luggage in the hostel during the day before our night bus to Santiago, and even let us use the kitchen to make dinner before we left. The location was great, 10 min walk from the bus station and a 10 min walk along the river to the main market and where boat trips leave from.DDarshanaYoung couple
