Situated in Yakushima, 29 km from Yakusugi Land, Ananda Chillage Yakushima features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking inn has a hot tub.

Wonderful location, gorgeous place to stay with a homely and friendly atmosphere. Lovely breakfast with fresh fruit, warm baked bread and fresh eggs from the chickens. Miki also organised bento for our long hike and helped with restaurant recommendations and bookings. We loved it here.

Friendly hosts, clean rooms and wonderful food. Remains the best food I’ve had in Japan after 2 months there! It’s also very chilled but social - you sit with other guests to eat breakfast and dinner. I’d recommend renting a car to get around the island. I used a company called YES Yakushima who arranged my ferry tickets and car rental.

The cosy, family feel of the place made my stay in Yakushima. The lady running the place was so nice and she prepared Onigiri for guests who had planned hikes on the island, which was really convenient. She also plans your sightseeing with you if you want, as she knows the bus schedules and the different things to see quite well. Met some really nice people at the guest house and shared an amazing hot pot on the last night. Tomarigi made my stay in Yakushima. Also, theres a supermarket about 5 minutes away by foot, which was really convenient.

It was an Awesome cottage for our family to stay! We loved to have the entire cottage to ourselves and have the ability to prepare light meals in the kitchen. The owners of the cottage were super friendly and accommodating. We especially loved the bath and gorgeous and delicious dinner after long day of hiking. Highly recommend this place! We’ll definitely want to go back again!

We had such a lovely stay at Yakunoyado Taguchi. We were picked up from the ferry port and brought us to the guest house. This was much appreciated as we arrived in the middle of a typhoon! Despite the rain we were able to explore the island thanks to Shigeru's great recommendations. The guesthouse itself is clean and well kept. We also had breakfast and dinner at Yakunoyado Taguchi which was phenomenal. This is a wonderful guesthouse which we highly recommend.
