Located within 400 metres of Puno Cathedral and 300 metres of Carlos Dreyer Museum, HOSTAL MILAGROS INN - samary inn offers rooms in Puno. The place is well located right next to the main Plaza. I had a very spacious and clean room with a hot shower and everything needed. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good, with fresh avocado and fruits.

Located 4 blocks from the main square, Taquile Familia Celso offers accommodations in Quinuapata. A complimentary breakfast is served daily. Rooms here are fitted with shared bathroom facilities. I warmly recommend this little island to everyone! We stayed with the Celso family and had one of the best experiences! The family is really nice, smily and willing to give you the best accomodation they've could. We had dinner with them - delicious and big, breakfast - really great and full filling. But more than that, we experienced a native person life by first hand. Celso asked some of the textile families to come visit in the following morning, so we had 1 to 1 explanation and observed by ourselves how textiles has been produced on the island. Oh and btw, if you're worry you might not have hot water or at all water - it's a myth.

Featuring a garden and a terrace, Amantani Pachatata Lodge is located in Amantani. Certain rooms at the property include a balcony with a city view. Vidal and Sonia were great hosts! They picked us up at the port by motorbike, very nice trip around the island. The room has its own bathroom and toilet with hot water and they provide a heater for the night so we were not cold at all. They prepared lunch (quinoa soup and trout with rice and vegetables), diner (chicken with rice and vegetables) and breakfast (fried egg and pancakes) for 20 soles extra per meal per person which is extremely fair given that these were one of the best meals we had during our trip, home made by Sonia with fresh organic products.

Amazing hospitality.. right in the center.. good clean rooms with ac and tv plus private bathroom.. and they have shuttle bus to the airport in Juliaca for just $5 😍
