The Olive Tree Villa is an exceptional property with outstanding hosts. The owner, Nikos, could not have been more helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. The villa is nicely elevated with great views over the village of Elounda and with easy access to Plaka and Agios Nikolaos. It's a very modern villa with all the amenities and the photos just don't do it justice.

If you’re in a hurry, the very short version of this review is: Staying here is one of the best travel decisions I ever made. And I’m 57. It really is. Book this place. You’ll be so glad you did. Short review: Stay here if you’re looking for somewhere to have a really relaxing holiday, with everything you could possibly wish for provided and more, in a truly beautiful place with great weather, where even if you barely leave the apartment you’ll have a great time, yet interesting people and places and wonderful food and company are within very easy reach. Honestly, just come and stay here. You won’t regret it! Book it now. I know it all sounds too good to be true - I thought that and I was anxious that it couldn’t possibly be as good as I hoped. I was wrong, it was even better than I hoped. We had the most amazing time! Really. I don’t write many reviews. I have put a lot of time into this one. This is a really special place. Don’t miss out. Full length review: Book a stay here. You’ll thank yourself every morning as you gaze at the wonderful view. Every time you think ‘I could do with a… oh, here one is… is there anything they haven’t thought of..?’ (By the way, the answer is no. They’ve thought of everything. You could just bring your passport, money phone and clothes. Everything else you might need is to hand). You’ll thank yourself whenever you message the wonderful host, Michael, for advice and receive a warm and helpful reply. On the sofa on the terrace, wondering just how many ranges of hills and mountains you can see. As you sunbathe on soft, water-resistant cushions after a soak in the hot tub. When a group of warm and friendly staff from Vachus Taverna serve your ‘take out’ meal on their crockery at the dining table in your apartment for no extra charge. As you take stunning photos of the bluest sea and sky framed perfectly by architecture on Spinalonga Island.

Eloynta House was very modern, smart, well decorated and furnished throughout. A great open plan living area with comfortable sofas and arm chairs, a fully equipped kitchen and dining table. A lovely double bedroom with its’ own terrace and large bathroom with 2 sinks, large bath with excellent shower. The downstairs cloakroom was a bonus and the sea views from the huge terrace were panoramic!

This was a last minute booking as the hotel we had driven 4 hours to was a huge disappointment. Graciously they let us out of our reservation but we were stuck. I had saved Naides on my booking list and wrote them. They immediately confirmed. When we drove up and parked right in front of the property. We shared with the two lovely receptionists, both named Irina, that this was a birthday trip. Our room was not quite ready (actually it was ready but the jacuzzi was being filled), so we went for a coffee in this beautiful seaside town. When we returned, the two irena’s and the other staff (still don’t know their names) had decided to upgrade our suite to an even nicer room and presented us with a bottle of wine all to celebrate our special day. We were so happy at this property we extended another day. I wish I could still be there looking at the sea view.

the pool is even nicer than from the picture cross the street and you’re already on the promande going to the Harbour staff was just lovely and very kind the whole hotel area feels like an oasis
