Everything was excellent and far better than I would expect for the room rate.

Lion Quays Waterside Resort is set in English countryside, with stunning views of the Llangollen Canal. All rooms have a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, a power shower and complimentary toiletries.

It was nice and relaxing. Also the bar was good aswell.

The hotel is in Llangollen town centre, looking out over the River Dee. It mixes original character with modern comforts, including free Wi-Fi, free parking and a riverside garden.

We were pleasantly surprised to have a 4 poster bed.
