I recently stayed at Skyview Hotel Bangkok and it was a fantastic experience. The location of the hotel is perfect, with the BTS and a mall nearby, as well as plenty of delicious restaurants within walking distance. The room was incredibly comfortable and clean, with a stunning view of the surrounding towers. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Bangkok.

Had a 7 am international flight the next day so best to have the question of an airport shuttle out of the way. Still, a 15 minute ride on the expressway, the 5-storey Cottage is on a quiet side street with a mall a 3 minute walk away. If up for it, a much instagrammable Wat is maybe 25 minutes walk with a market on the main road and a shopping street going to the Wat. Best to leave some room in the luggage for finds in the mall, the market and the shopping street. The swimming pool is open til nine evening for a soak to cap the day (probably not advisable).

The room was spacious and I really like how the TV has multiple Japanese channels. The breakfast is great, with the egg station and freshly steamed dumplings. The reception staff and the security guys were very attentive and helpful.
I also like the big bath in the suite. Location is excellent. Many Japanese people staying at this place.
