Vanessa and Derek are the absolutely wonderful hosts at this property and Vanessa could not have been more of a help to me and my partner if she tried . Help and advice was given to us freely about the area and what there is to do . I could not recommend this property enough, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay ! Thank you so so much !

They went an extra mile with small detail. A bottle of water and champagne, biscuits, rusks, mil, wood and everything else we needed and did not think about. I enjoyed big tasty breakfasts, the garden, a comfortable room, beautiful surroundings (the lagoon was very special and I loved the wild horses!) and lovely conversations with Vanessa! I really hope to come back one day!

Nicely sized 2 bedrooms with a small living area - very comfortable. From the viewing room you can enjoy beautiful views and we saw a couple of whales (though from afar) so very nice. The cliff path is about 2 minutes walk from the lodge and the beach is about 5 minutes away. Great local restaurant around the corner as well!RonenFamily with young children

Outstanding location, just on the beach, can enjoy fantastic sea view and sunsets from the balcony in the room. It is a quite part of Hermanus, but lots of restaurants/shops are just 5-10 min drive away. Rooms are specious and comfortable. Breakfast delicious. Staff is very professional and friendly. Our special thanks to Nomsa for all her efforts to make our stay memorable and so enjoyable. She is a real asset for the business.
