Wildlife Lodge Cahuita ligt in de jungle te midden van een betoverende botanische tuin, op 300 meter van Playa Grande. Het is de perfecte plek voor natuurliefhebbers. We loved the place due to its big surrounding garden, which is stunning and beautifully taken care of, and the team there which is super welcoming. The delicious breakfast was a new experience every day. You can spot wild animals (birds, frogs, spiders ...) on the premises and can hear the howler monkeys and many other sounds at night. I loved the power outlet on the patio. We would definetely come back!

Wildlife everywhere...stayed 2 nights and saw way more here from porch then saw in the NP ..howler and capuchin monkeys at all times of the day huge iguanas agouti birds butterflies crabs so much to see it was incredible..was the highlight of our trip of 20 days so far .. if you are visiting for wildlife THIS IS DEFINITELY FOR YOU!! DONT HESITATE it was amazing. It's a wooden simple private cabin with a comfy hammoc Cahuita NP next door and in centre of town There is a kitchenette you can access fully stocked ...the fans in room are good enough to keep you cool as well as the bug netting around beds was nice

We have stayed in many places around the world, few as satisfying as Passion Fruit EcoLodge. Delphine and Bert were consummate hosts, the breakfast extraordinary, and the aesthetic of the cabin, the pool, and the surroundings exquisite. Simple elegance, done with the refined taste of an interior designer and architect. Each choice, from the food to the furnishings to the burbling dipping pool attached to the cabin, was done with such attention to detail and with such care. We were surrounded by the sounds of nature, from the wild sounds of the howler monkeys to soothing sounds of more than a dozen different birds in the space of a few minutes (identified with Merlin, the Cornell Ornithology ID app). On one day, we were rained out of our adventure, but returned happily to the front porch of our cabin to read in the Adirondack chairs. We felt not only well-taken care of, but in the company of intelligent and worldly hosts. Passion Fruit EcoLodge merits our unconditional praise.

La Rana De Cahuita ligt op 5 km van het centrum van Cahuita en biedt een tropische tuin en een buitenbad dat het hele jaar door geopend is. Puerto Viejo ligt op 18 km afstand. Het hele complex was super goed onderhouden en schoon. Het huisje modern en stijlvol. Er is veel aandacht aan besteed. (Zie foto’s die van de badkamer is van de muur bij het zwembad) Het terras bij het huisje was heel relaxed. We hebben eigenlijk bijna niet binnen gezeten. Het bed was goed en fijn dat er horren zijn. In de netjes onderhouden tuin stonden mooie bloemen en er waren veel vogels en vlinders. Soms hoorde je de brulapen wat een echt jungle gevoel geeft. Het zwembad was lekker om af te koelen en eromheen staan relax stoelen. Ook hier was het schoon en goed onderhouden. Zindi en Werner waren erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze regelde een prima gids voor in het NP van Cahuita voor ons. Het ontbijt was de prijs meer dan waard.

Cabinas Caribe Luna ligt in Cahuita, op slechts 700 m van het nationaal park Cahuita en op 300 m van Playa Negra. U kunt genieten van de grote tuin vol apen, kikkers en vogels. The hosts were so kind, the gardens were beautiful and the property was very quiet. My cabin was spacious,clean and had everything i needed to enjoy my stay!
