Lodge was immaculate with all the required facilities. The view over the lake was amazing and the sunken hot tub was lovely. Will highly recommend to friends and family!

David is a wonderful host, very friendly and attentive. He also gave good recommendations for walks to do. The one from grassington to kettlewell was particularly nice. The room is gorgeous. Comfy bed, comfy sofa and a big window looking out over the garden, the river and the greens hills on the other side. Breakfast came every morning in a basket and was delicious. We took two lovely walks in the area, which were gorgeous.

It is one of the nicest places we have stayed, the staff couldn't have been any nicer, they were so welcoming! We had an 18 month old Labrador with us, she was made such a fuss off, very dog friendly. Food was lovely, it is such a cosy welcoming pub. The accommodation was lovely, nice little hamper left for breakfast and the bed was exceptionally comfortable and big! Great location for walking and visiting other towns near by.

Acorn Glade is an adult-only glamping retreat located on a lake-side meadow and woodland site on the fringes of the Vale of York and the Yorkshire Wolds. The location was beautiful in front of the lake. The boat was free to use and good fun. Plenty of board games, an old school pac man game, alpacas and wallabies! So much stuff to do. The cabin was beautiful and quirky with kitsch decor. Here were tea and coffee facilities and a wood burner. The bed was really comfy too! We felt so relaxed and peaceful and Wendy added some nice personal touches around the place such as a welcome plaque with our names on and hand written messages in the kitchen. Would highly recommend staying here. We will be back!
