Amir is such a friendly and welcoming host. He made sure I had everything I needed and really made me feel at home. The beautiful scenery surrounding the property added to the overall experience, making my stay even more enjoyable. The space was clean, cosy, and had everything I needed, I can't wait to come back again!

Set in tranquil surroundings with large landscaped grounds and a picturesque garden terrace with mountain views, Tongariro Crossing Lodge offers uniquely spacious rooms with historic character. A garden is featured. The staff provided exceptional guidance so that we could take stunning views of the mountains during sunset. Very high quality breakfast. Overall, exceeded my expectations in this rather remote/resource limited (to a city person at least) location.

Located in Whangamata, 1.9 km from Whangamata Beach, Amazing Kiwi Lodge provides accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with an outdoor swimming pool. The accommodation has a hot tub. Clare is lovely and very welcoming with information about the area, suggestions of places to visit and eat. Breakfast was delicious and delivered to our patio. Being outside of town was peaceful, and still easy to get to everything.

Kauri Lodge Karapirois 15 minutes' drive from both Hobbiton Movie Set and Cambridge Town Centre. This holiday home is an hour drive from Waitomo Caves, Tauranga and Rotorua. The lodge was very quiet and peaceful. Very Shire-like. It was very comfortable and clean. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

Wairua Lodge is a 15-minute drive from Whitianga and a 30-minute drive from Hotwater Beach. Cathedral Cove is a 35-minute drive and Auckland International Airport is a 2.5 hour drive away. Perfect place to stay! Best accomodation we had, not only on the North Island but in total during our 5 weeks NZ trip on both islands! The room was nicely furnitured, the amenities around were awesome - Swiss firering for BBQ with free Marshmallows, a jaccuzi to watch the stars at night, a Treetop bath-house with rainforrest view, a couple of nice and exciting walks through the rainforest, natural pools in the river and even glowworms at night. The pictures don't lie - reality is even better! And for those who still wanted to leave the premises during their stay (which would not be necessary as you've literally got everthing there already to spend some relaxing days), they also borrow spades to dig holes in the Hot water beach and also had some great recommendations on what to do when. Will definitely book again if we're in the area!

Good bed and loved the pillows. Amazing views. Peaceful location: quiet and relaxing.

Boasting a terrace and room service, Hare's Rest is attractively set in Taupo, 31 km from Orakei Korako Cave and Thermal Park and 31 km from Orakei Korako - The Hidden Valley. This lodge has a garden, barbecue facilities, free WiFi and free private parking. We planned a short girls trip to Taupo with my pet dog. The accommodation was absolutely lovely, despite the bad weather. It was warm and cosy, the hosts were extremely nice. Would certainly recommend staying here multiple days to fully enjoy and relax. My dog was in heaven, huge grounds to run around and play in - one of the best pet friendly accommodations we've stayed in

Free WiFi is offered. The view was amazing and it was very peaceful. Also, the cleanliness was outstanding. Warren was a very kind, attentive host who gave us plenty of tips about things to see and places to go.
