Everything about this hotel is excellent. The owner of this property is at the reception and is a super friendly and helpful lad. We had reserved 1 one-bedroom apartment and 2 studio units and the owner was kind enough to upgrade all of our rooms to one-bedroom units free of charge. Highly recommended place of stay in Nelson!

Located in the centre of Nelson only 100 metres from the main shopping area, Palms Motel offers self-contained apartments with full kitchen facilities. It also has an outdoor heated swimming pool. This is a sweet little motel close to downtown. Easy walking, right accross the street from the grocery store. The owner lives on the property and it feels really friendly. The room was very nice. It isn't huge but plenty. The kitchen is small but we cooked breakfast easily and three were in the room. I would totally stay here again. A really nice touch was that when we checked in they gave us a bottle of milk for our coffee. It was a sweet detail. Robyn was the manager and she was hilarious!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, best stay in our past 7d in NZ. The place was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Great tv, cooking equipment and heated bed as well. 100% worthy of being one of the top rated motels in NZ.

Chelsea Park Motor Lodge offers luxuriously appointed rooms with free unlimited Wi-Fi, just 5 minutes' walk from the centre of Nelson. Dean and Tomoko are very nice and helpful people, we felt welcome and since begining till very end they were helping with great tips and advices about the city, restaurants and attractions at place. Room was very clean and cosy, we will gladly recommend this accommodation to everyone! Happy to stay there.
