The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable, I didn’t want to leave. It stated there was an iron and hairdryer in the room but there was not. However it was no problem for staff to provide them though once asked. The breakfast was also great, and the pool area had great views. You do have to make a reservation for a pool bed as there are only 6. It does have parking which is handy, it is very small/tight area so be mindful.

As it says it is a colonial house with lots of character and charm set around a central courtyard. We had a room above the courtyard which was very quiet. The double room we stayed in wasn't huge but perfectly adequate and the breakfasts were excellent with fresh fruit, eggs and cheese, juice and coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The tourist attractions in Barranquilla were more spread throughout the city so we took taxis but they are plentiful and reasonable for the short distances and the hotel are happy to call them for you. We enjoyed visits to the Sharks Fin, The Carnival Museum, La Troja, Window to the World and the Malecon and there are some really good shopping malls. In terms of location, quality and value for money we thought this hotel was excellent.
