We wanted to visit Cape Reinga and discovered this perfect stay as we were searching for accommodations. The room was really clean (best tidiness and cleaning we had in New Zealand) and had everything we needed. A 5-minute drive away is the Tonui Lucid Cafe, which we recommend for breakfast; the view is beautiful and the food delicious. We arrived around 5 p.m. at the accommodation, had a wonderful chat with the hosts, and left our luggage there. We still made it to the grand dunes to surf a little in the sand. Afterwards, there was still time to check out Cape Reingas lighthouse in a marvellous sunset. After a good night's sleep, we went to eat breakfast at the Lucid Cafe, checked out the Gumdiggers Forest, and continued to the Maitai Beach (we absolutely recommend this beach!). So, the place has a perfect location.

El Taipa Views Bed & Breakfast se encuentra en Taipa, en Doubtless Bay Northland. Está cerca de Cable Bay y Mangonui. Super comfy, private, and well appointed. We were exhausted so did not get to interact as we would have liked. That is definitely something we missed out on. Location is perfect for a quick hop over to Huka Falls. Breakfast was perfect, light and fresh.

Thistle Do Beach Bach, que cuenta con vistas al jardín, ofrece alojamiento con balcón a unos 2,2 km de Uretiti Beach. Friendly host, lovely surprise of food provided in the fridge. Comfortable house that feels like home, with a lovely outdoor area. Had everything we needed. Really close to the beautiful beach & lovely coffee shop.

Chalet Cullen, se encuentra en Mangawhai, a 1,8 km de Playa de Mangawhai Heads, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. This accommodation is superb in every way, very spacious, lovely furniture, comfortable bed, good bathroom and fabulous view. Well maintained outside area, with deck, table and chairs etc, free on-site parking and excellent WiFi. It is very close to the estuary, the ocean beach and close to the local Mangawhai Heads shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again.

El 144 km Paradise ofrece alojamiento en Kaitaia, a 3,7 km de Okahu Estate. Hay conexión WiFi gratuita. Beautifull views over 90 mile beach.

El Tokatoka views Farmstay, situado en Ruawai, admite mascotas y ofrece barbacoa y WiFi gratuita. Hay aparcamiento privado gratuito. Algunos alojamientos tienen zona de estar. Los anfitriones, Peter y su mujer, son una pareja muy agradable. Nos trataron como si fuéramos auténticos invitados. Compartimos con ellos la cocina y salón-comedor, por lo que sí alguien busca privacidad, éste desde luego no es su lugar. Después de cenar, nos entretuvieron con juegos y charla. Por la mañana Peter nos invitó a ir a ordeñar vacas y dar de comer a los animales. Fue una experiencia muy interesante! Finalmente, antes de irnos, también nos llevó a hacer una pequeña excursión a la cima del monte TokaToka, también muy instructiva.
