Feels like a Swedish cabin in the heart of the Burren- spotless, cosy, restful well appointed, great shower, no detail left unplanned even down to real crystal wine glasses and welcome pack. self contained & peaceful, we even heard the cuckoo in the morning! Two mornings…. Lovely east facing deck to sit out and view the rising morning sun or the stars at night and the lights of Lisdoon in the distance, warmed by a wood fired chimera. Hilltop Haven is in the quiet countryside with a lovely view over the valley but close to Doolin. Then cottage is clean and well-equipped and maintained. The added bonus was bread, milk, water and juice that were left for us. We didn’t have the opportunity to meet our hosts but did enjoy their accommodation and location very much.
