Facing the seafront on Manda Island, Mangrove House features a private beach area. Among the various facilities are barbecue facilities and a garden. Excellent location, excellent hosts (Masha and Harrison), extremely scrumptuous food. You feel at home. Extreme tranquility on Manda Island, away from the hustle and bustle. Hard to beat.

Beautiful house, spacious room and very attentive staff. I was taken care of very well. Chui helped us plan our activities very well. The tours and boat trips were fun and organized.

Jamala Guesthouse, nestled in the heart of Lamu Old Town, was an absolute delight for us first-time visitors to Lamu. It provided a unique opportunity to deeply immerse ourselves in the local culture and connect with the welcoming people. The early morning calls to prayer from the surrounding mosques, for instance, became an integral part of the immersive experience. It is located just a short walk from the boat jetty which is super convenient! The host, Baji, was not only highly responsive but also incredibly helpful. Right from the moment we made our booking, he was readily available to provide us with all the information we needed. Baji even arranged a boat pick-up for us and an enriching Old Town Tour with Abu, who was an absolute delight to be around. The rooms at Jamala were both spacious and well-equipped with all the essentials, making it excellent value for money. The breakfast was also nice and balanced, with the option of tea/coffee, bread, eggs and fruit. There is also a kitchen available complete with a fridge that is available for guests to use. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at Jamala again! Thank you to the team for making our inaugural visit to Lamu very memorable!😊😊

Featuring a swimming pool and tropical gardens, Kijani Hotel is situated on the coast of Lamu Island, along the Indian Ocean. The décor comes with natural handmade furniture, lanterns and ornaments. We loved the position being tight on the beach , the restaurant was also looking over the beach with beautiful cool breezes. The staff are all very friendly and helpful

Situated just 10 metres from the Lamu beachfront, Shella white house features a restaurant and a rooftop veranda with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. Shella White House was perfect. So good customer service: I lost the room key and they handled the situation very well and I was so happy with that. I enjoyed the breakfast and views from the roof top alot.
