Good location, close to Orvieto but away from the busyness for the town. Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Superb pool. It’s our second stay and we will go back :-)

The house belongs to an old couple who welcomed us very well. Even though they had to use online translation app to communicate with us (we do not speak Italian), we managed to clarify everything and even had a very pleasant chat with them. We arrived in the evening and they offered us very delicious homemade dinner with local and homemade products. The breakfast was delicious too. This place is surrounded by vine and olive fields which made the whole atmosphere very romantic and traditional even in the winter time. The nearby town with its historical city center is also a must visit place. We will be glad to visit this place again.

Really impressed. Friendly helpful couple to deal with. The private pool is just huge, well designed, fenced off if needed, clean, deep at one end, with a springboard. It is the biggest pool from any rental I have used in the last 25 years. It wouldn't look out of place in a small hotel. Beautiful surroundings with large mature trees, stone BBQ. Lots of choice for loungers and seating and a lovely big sun umbrella. The apartment is up one flight of outside stairs, is large, clean and modern and the beds are really comfortable. Two large bathrooms, one ensuite. The kitchen has microwave and hob, kettle and toaster but no oven. The Aircon works well. There is a small supermarket within a few minutes drive for bread/milk etc. Orvieto is 10 minutes drive away along a winding road with great views. The owners live in an adjacent property and have three large friendly dogs who were well contained behind a gate, but they did bark a bit which could potentially be an issue for some. The WiFi worked ok but could be improved upon.

We loved the character of the inn. Staff was wonderful, and you could tell they enjoyed working there and helping guests. The owner was fantastic. Came and spoke with guests at the dinners and was very, very helpful advising us on things to do and see in and around the Orvietto area. We also stayed for dinners at the inn and the meals were fantastic. Just know that they prepare a single four course meal for all the guests (but do accommodate dietary restrictions).
