Nice and spacy rooms with comfy beds, beautiful garden with outside pool, great common areas like living room and bar to meet with other people and fantastic dinner. But most importantly the hospitality of the owners, Jenny and Gavin, was absolutely amazing. They took us in like we were part of their family. They are taking very good care of their guests, preparing the perfect meals even taking into account any complicated allergies, sharing their stories and we had a lot of fun together. I would recommend Wendy’s country lodge to everybody coming to South Africa and this will be the first place I book when I’m visiting South Africa again. The property is safe, secured and has all the facilities you would require on a holiday. The icing on the cake is the host, Mr. Craig. He was helpful, responsive and seems to be the best guy owning a lot of thing in and around. Fresh linens were provided each day along with all braaing and campfire products. They also provided genertor due to loadshedding which exceeded our expectations.
