Hotel zum Heiligen Geist ligger i centrala Mariazell, bara 30 meter från linbanan Bürgeralpe och 500 meter från basilikan. WiFi är gratis. Everything was great. Room was much bigger than we expected, exceptionally clean, hotel perfectly located - on the main street, few minutes from sops and restaurants. Owner is very pleasant, she gave us many useful tips. Breakfast was carefully selected, tasty and plentiful. All in all, hotel highly recommended.

Hideaway Hotel Montestyria Chalets & Suiten ligger i Mariazell, 32 km från Hochschwab, och erbjuder boende med en utomhuspool, gratis privat parkering, en trädgård och en terrass. The moment you step foot in the cozy 'lobby', you are made to feel right at home. It feels more like visiting a distant relative, than checking into a hotel. We arrived after regular check-in time, and still we were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine and chatted for half an hour - what a difference to what you are used to. This approach directly set the tone for the rest of the stay, and I have not come across a better combination of privacy and luxury, and such a personal touch. During the whole stay, the hosts were super helpful, friendly and could not have made us feel more welcome. The rooms are nicely decorated, beds very comfortable, the view is phenomenal and the breakfast is extensive. It was a lovely experience having it served in the room, with a view over Mariazell and the valley. We had some special requests, and they were more than fulfilled, making this a truly memorable weekend. From the hotel, you get to the center of Mariazell within minutes on foot, but getting to the hotel by car is equally easy, making it a great starting point for excursions into the region.

Detta hotell ligger intill den berömda basilikan och andra sevärdheter, precis vid det stora torget i centrala Mariazell. Great stuff, everything was as promised, own parking lot, central location.

Gasthof zum Sessellift ligger i Mitterbach, 38 km från Hochschwab, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en terrass och en restaurang. The rooms were very clean, the furnitures, bathroom, windows, everything was high quality material. The rooms were very quiet, the beds are comfortable. The staff was very kind and flexible when we wanted to change the room, so that our rooms with the kids will be close to each other. The dinner was also delicious.

Featuring a spa and Finnish sauna, infrared cabin, wellness shower, tea bar, realaxation area and a sunny terrace with a view of Gemeindealpe. The room was beautiful and clean. I appreciate the rich breakfast, including eggs served in different ways. The wellness area with a terrace overlooking the surrounding mountains was also amazing.

JUFA Hotel Erlaufsee ligger bara 500 meter från skidområdet Bürgeralpe och bredvid ett sportcenter, 2 km från Mariazells centrum. Hotellet har även en spaavdelning. Location is exceptional, both Erlaufsee and Mariazell is a walk away (<2km), breakfast and dinner buffet are versatile, fresh, well rounded and fairly priced. All but one employee were exceptionallly kind, helpfull, invested in the client. Interior rooms were great, as well as exterior. Gym has modern and well rounded machines offer. Not cheapest hotel, but not overpriced for the above mentioned. Will come back again. Especially if any aktions appear :-)

JUFA Hotel am. Sigmundsberg ligger 3 km från Mariazell och erbjuder en stor inomhuspool, bowlingbanor, en rodelbana och en stor trädgård med terrass. Här erbjuds en frukostbuffé och gratis parkering. I like the location in quite part of the village. Great family hotel very kind people, great breakfast.

Hotel Drei Hasen är familjeägt i 5 generationer. Här bor du i centrala Mariazell, bara 100 meter från den världsberömda basilikan och 50 meter från linbanan. The staff were extremely helpful and nice, the breakfest service was amazing.

Hotel Himmelreich har ett centralt läge i Mariazell, bara några steg från basilikan. Här erbjuds en ölträdgård, en restaurang och en infraröd kabin. WiFi är gratis i de allmänna utrymmena. Nice and clean room, probably renovated lately. Hotel is located in the center of the city just above the church. Host is very helpful and offered a garage for bikes (for a 10 EUR fee). Dinner in the hotel restaurant was a decent one.

AKTIVHOTEL Weisser Hirsch ligger mitt i stadens centrum, bara 100 meter från Mariazell-basilikan. Här finns en restaurang som serverar österrikiska och internationella rätter samt ett mysigt kafé.
