The location is off the beaten path, and 1-2 restaurants are nearby. It's a pretty remote location.

Breakfast was great - served on time and with a smile every morning. any time we asked they were able to provide - even our early morning starts!! the room was neat and tidy with a fridge; great fan; good AC and really comfy beds. the lodge is securely fenced and was very safe. if you had a car there was plenty of parking right by your room. the staff were really friendly and helpful, assisting with drivers etc. Easy walk into town - about 8-10 minutes to supermarket and Baobab; and about 5 minutes to the market.; 2-3 min walk to the corner shops for water or other drinks. The hotel is located on top of a small hill - so nice view over ghana towards the ocean. the walk up is only a short slight incline. the location is away from the tourist spot - so much quieter and safer. All in all we really enjoyed our time at this hotel.

The terrace overlooking the ocean is great for breakfast, dinner and drinks. The hostel's cook, Robert, is fantastic and made us some of best meals we had in Ghana. We were really pleased that the menu also had some delicious vegetarian and vegan options.
