The resort far exceeded my expectations! It was absolutely the most beautiful place I've ever stayed and unfortunately we could only stay one night because of availability. We would gladly have extended our stay. We had a river side room with private patio, and there were fish and ducks swimming right outside. The room was very large and private and I loved the Nepresso coffee maker! The grounds were immaculately groomed and luscious with vegetation and flowers. We enjoyed the pool and also kayaking on the river. Don't pass it up if you have the chance to stay!

Amazing location and views, wonderful staff. Freddy is amazing, and the night guard did a close up magic show which was incredible, highly recommend. Excellent food and drink, friendly staff, beautiful rooms and location is unbeatable

Sattva Land is set in Belmopan and has a garden and a terrace. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. Such a nice place to visit! It’s a sustainable Hotel with a high standard! The family who runs it, is so friendly and nice! Best pancakes allover Belize and best spot to see red-eyed tree frog! The property has its own jungle walk, a yoga room, a garden with flowers and hummingbirds, and a pond… We stayed in a room with toilets outside and with a shared kitchen and dining. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. For the price one of the best places in Belize! You’re in the jungle, don’t forget bug spray ;)

Located in Bullet Tree Falls, 5.4 km from Cahal Pech, Cohune Palms River Cabanas provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The property is beautifully situated right on the river - which you can swim in! There is jungle all around and feels like you are in an oasis! Every morning I would have my coffee overlooking the river - I saw river otters and one day a large river turtle just came floating by! We had breakfast there - which was very good! The staff was amazing - helped us book an ATM Cave tour last minute (which was a once in a lifetime experience) and assisted with our travels to Guatemala. We wondered if the no AC in the room would be an issue, but it absolutely wasn't! Between the cool down at night and the fans in the room we slept great!

I loved the natural environment and the delicious food and the very friendly staff. Above all, Ms Chena is di best hostess ever!

Gumbo Limbo Jungle Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Cool Shade. Offering a bar, the property is located within 12 km of Barton Creek Cave. We loved the serenity, the personal touches, warm welcomes and the ease of access from town (well, easy up till the driveway; but that’s just part of the adventure!) Jay and Christine were wonderful hosts! Not only did they make us feel like part of the family, they were able to give us wonderful suggestions of things to do, help us (and other guests) arrange incredible last minute tours and also made us delicious late night drinks and desserts. The property was beautifully maintained and you could feel the love that this family has put into it. Not only would we return to Gumbo Limbo without hesitation, we would also recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Jaguar Creek offers accommodation in Caves Branch. The resort has a year-round creek with available tubing as weather permits, barbecue and sun terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Perfect location. Just remember you’re in the jungle, so there will be sounds at night. We spent 3 nights in the most remote cabin, we were the only ones in the hotel, so it was just us in the nature. Plenty of hummingbirds flowing around the hibiscus, we saw a group of wild little pigs one morning just under our window, lots of fireflies every evening at dusk on our way to the restaurant… quite magical. The vegetation is luscious, with lots of flowers and trees. There’s everything you need in the cabins, from water dispensers to mosquito sprays (we even had a hammock in our cabin!). The mosquito / bug isolation of the cabin is pretty thorough, but the bed mosquito net offers extra protection. The cabins are very spacious. There was a few fans. Shower worked fine. We enjoyed tubing / bathing in the river along the estate. With the free bikes provided you can ride to the chocolate farm grab an iced coffee or cycle to the blue hole, which are very nearby. The hotel also offers a variety of tours / activity. We did the nearby cave tour. The food was delicious. It’s a set menu but there’s hasn’t been one meal prepared by the cook we didn’t like / finish. The staff was so helpful and kind. Lots of little attentions, like flower petals in our room at arrival or for our last diner… and anything to make our stay more enjoyable. And after speaking to the staff, we found out that it’s a non profit place, and they’re actually helping local students. All in all, it was an amazingly relaxing stay, and it felt even better knowing you’re helping the local community by staying there.

This family-run lodge offers a health spa, an eco-friendly swimming pool and unique accommodation with private verandas and jungle views. The Lodge at Chaa Creek was spectacular and a perfect place to stay in the rainforest of Belize. The staff were SO helpful from the moment I booked the trip (via lots of email communication to plan outings, etc) and through our entire stay. The setting there is beautiful and the food at the restaurant was fantastic. We would highly recommend staying here on all fronts!
