Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Location, price, breakfast were good but room was very tiny and heater was difficult to work and room was cold. The evening reception didn’t speak English hardly at all and was difficult to communicate with her and each time I tried to find her she wasn’t there for me to ask about putting something in fridge so my food ended up in rubbish.

Location is great, in the city centre. The hotel staff was very helpful a specially Ilda in the reception. She advised very good local restaurant in the centre and other interesting places in the city. Breakfast is was good and tasty. Thanks for everything🇦🇱🙏🥰

Wake up call by local roosters: bit too early. Tiny bathroom. Room very dated....but a good size.
Staff very friendly & helpful. Great breakfast. Ideal location. Very near bus station - big plus.

The facilities were quite old.
The breakfast was very good and delicious. Additionally, the hotel has a great proximity to the center of Shkodra.

Overall the hotel was clean, but the rooms are quite small and really need to be remodeled. We had a total of three rooms with our group and in one the heater didn't work and the toilet leaked (and apparently has for quite some time according to the staff). In another room there was a very bad small and one bed was very uncomfortable. In our room the Wi-Fi did not work, so we needed to sit in the lobby adjacent to our room in order to use phones or laptops.
The location is perfect right in the middle of town. They do provide a few parking spaces right by the building so that was convenient arriving by car. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The price for the double room at 3,100 lek per night included a simple breakfast but was a fair price.

We had a room on the first floor. The window in the room was right on the walkway to the entrance to the building. This was a bit noisy, we used our sound machine and it blocked out the noise. We were also right next to the reception area.
Easy check in. Comfortable room. Good location with parking included.

Bathroom condition is much to be desired. Outside noises can be disturbing if you're a light sleeper.
Location is perfect, right in city center. Breakfast is delicious and filling. Room is small but bed is comfortable, bathroom needs to be updated. Free car parking.

The cramped bathroom, paying extra money for a second cup of tea & coffee & the not very customer forced staff member who greeted us on arrival.
The room was very comfortable & spacious. The bathroom was a little cramped with the toilet being very close to the basin. The location was excellent. We were able to walk from the bus to the hotel. Unfortunately the female staff member who greeted us on arrival was not very friendly or helpful. The breakfast was very nice however I was quite shocked to be advised after requesting a second cup of tea & coffee we would have to pay an extra euro. In all my travelling I have never had to do that. Other staff were very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend staying there.
