Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaStreet that light shone in window all night made sleep more challenging. Parking in the area is at a premium, but they offer off-street parking for a small daily fee. We found a space on a side alley, and didn’t want to try to navigate the narrow streets to find their parking area.
Staff members were very kind, helpful and welcoming. Bathroom was very small, but clean and functional. Breakfast offerings generous, coffee excellent and room where breakfast was held comfortable. Hotel is also a museum, so rooms were decorated accordingly and very comfortable. Hotel is located on a quiet street and close to Old Bridge, and restaurants. Take advantage of museum tour - it’s interesting and part of the ambiance of staying here. One of the few places we stayed that had flat surfaces for 2 open suitcases!

GermanyWe were somewhat disappointed that we did not get a room in the historic house itself, but in an annex facing the s,mall garden where breakfast was served. The room was nicely furnished, but a bit smallish. It would be good if prospective guests would be told beforehand which type of room they will get.
A nice historic Osmanic house (with an annex) close to the centre of town, but quiet, with a nice garden and very friendly personnel. Guests are given a free tour of the rooms of the house that contains the original furniture and now severs as museum. Breakfast could be taken in garden. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is architecturally beautiful. The room is stylishly decorated and furnished in Ottoman style, and yet offering all the modern comfort. A delicious buffet breakfast is served in a charming area surrounded by greenery - you can sit outside to enjoy your breakfast. The garden and the fig tree shaded pergola provide you with a calming sanctuary after sightseeing.

United States of AmericaI like everything.
It was in a good location. It was just a walk down a small hill to the Old Town. The folks that run the place and everyone who worked there couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. The breakfasts were very good. We really didn't eat again until supper time. The room was small, but we chose it for the ambiance and history, which was perfect. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom facilities were typical for Bosnia, different from us but quite adequate. This is an historic adventure that is entirely worth it,

United KingdomStaff are super friendly and arrange everything including a breakfast take away for the day we were travelling. The building is incredible steeped in history and slightly outside the old town about a 10 mins walk away so very accessible. We loved the quiet courtyard and beautiful flowers. The owners take care that you will enjoy all of Mostar. Rooms are decorated in old style but very clean and comfortable with great lounging areas in ottoman style.

IndonesiaIt was all good. The staff were lovely and helpful. We felt like Ottoman princesses in our beautiful room with the sumptuous furniture and gauzy curtained beds which were very comfortable. Slept very well and enjoyed a substantial breakfast and the guided tour of the house before departure. Central to everything and being a historic house so added to our enjoyment.

Great location and great people. We arrived early and could join for breakfast with no extra charge and open attitude. Room was nice and clean. Ladies working there tried to help and it at least seemed they actually get along and enjoy themselves. Place with a great vibe and not just because of architecture of the house

United States of AmericaBathroom a bit small and cramped. Lighting a little dark. The street was narrow and busy with cars and pedestrians...rather nerve-wracking.There was no desk or table for my husband to work at.
I loved staying in a historic Ottoman home! There was a beautiful courtyard and the house was charming. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! We had parking at a private lot up the street.

United Arab EmiratesCharming ottoman hotel with beautiful rooms. You feel like you are in the oasis of calm. Delicious breakfast. Very close to the centre. Very kind staff and the owner. Gabi is a very helpful and kind lady. My mum had a problem with a wheelchair and the owner was kind enough to offer his help and despite some technical issues, he did not give up until he fixed it for us. Thank you so much for being so caring.

DenmarkWe arrived at the hotel and received the warmest welcome with a refreshing drink in the reception area whilst being checked into our rooms. We were shown our rooms, which were absolutely stunning. Unbelievably beautiful, well-kept rooms that have everything you need. The breakfast the next day was also incredibly pleasant and versatile with both national dishes (burek/sirnica) and delicious figs. We were after the breakfast given a tour of the museum part of the hotel by the latest Muslibegovic descendant, who was incredibly detailed in his story and passionate about the history surrounding the hotel and the family. The tour offered, among other things, the narration of various documents which are several hundred years old and the display of well-preserved objects. For information, the hotel's location is top - a few minutes' walk from the pedestrian street with shops, cafes and restaurants and a few minutes' walk from the Mostar Old Bridge and several beautiful mosques. Staying here was nothing but a great experience and thus many, many recommendations to book the Bosnian National Monument Muslibegovic House for your overnight stay in Mostar!
