Rooms were not that big and no views…at least not from our Superior room category. Although, the staff did make the effort to give us the “best” view for our room category.

Location is the best out of all hotels. You cannot be more central.

Breakfast service was disorganized

What an amazing hotel! The service is the absolute best we’ve ever experienced - friendly and efficient. The room was very elegant and the turn down service in the evening was outstanding. Dinner at the Italian restaurant in the hotel was one of the highlights of our trip.

The Staff at the breakfast seemed overwhelmed and kept us waiting for 15 minutes more than necessary. That put me under pressure as I had a train to catch and therefore, did not enjoy the meal. The waffle was also dry and cold. Of cause, the supervisor apologised but the deed had been done.

The 5 star treatment right from alighting from the airport taxi was top notch. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel gives the impression of a very well furnished and maintained property. The decor was also 5-star with antique furniture.

The plumbing needs attention . Our bathroom and room smelled stuffy and slightly septic the whole time we were there. Advised reception . Not able to make a cup of tea in the room, and to get one from the bar cost 8 euro. (2 cups, 2 teabags , one small pot of hot water. ) The restaurant is very expensive. Many good dining options close to the hotel. Hotel held our credit card which is expected, but what we didn’t expect was that they took money every day we were there .

Great location close to the main Square and old city. Wonderful bar with small casual meals available and a great arty vibe. (Margritte). Live music weekend evenings.

We liked everything. Before breakfast everyday, we ordered coffee. Along with the perfectly brewed coffee, the hotel supplied fresh French pastries. Perfect mornings!

Unbelievably great 5 star staff. And it is in the Center of town-steps to the guild houses and the market. There is not a better location in Brussels.

Our bedroom looked out the back so the view wasn’t great, although this didn’t matter as we weren’t in the room for long! I think rooms looking out the front have a great view though.

Beautiful building and interior, amazing location next to the Grand Place. Friendly, cheerful staff and a lovely welcome gift. Delicious breakfast, and very child friendly.

It has the friendliest and the most helpful staff I have ever seen in European hotels. Location was perfect. You can walk everywhere. Concierge was unbelieveably good. They made the diner reservation and their coices was very good. Especially Haluk was perfect. He even gave us helpful notes about the city that we'll visit next day. Breakfast buffet was enough and delicious. Room was very clean, chic and comfortable If i go to Brussels again, i'd like to stay there again, no doubt.

The bar was being refurbished at the time of our visit, but it should be restored to its glory now.
