Long wait for the service in the restaurant and bar but I was there for a big running event.

The first impression is not good with the really bad cigarette smell when we opened the room's door. The room was clean, but the smell was very annoying especially for someone with allergies. The bed is comfortable but the pillows are very small, and there's only one pillow per person. The TV is very outdated and there are almost no channels in english speaking channels. The shower box is very small. We can see that the hotel needs a lot of renovations.

The room is very spacious, with a balcony with a view of the trees and the river. The parking lot is not that big, but we didn't have problems finding a spot. The breakfast was good, and there weren't any lines when we were there.

We weren't overly impressed with the hot breakfast options in the buffet restaurant or the evening meal. Choice was limited and this is something that could be improved. We booked in for dinner one evening but did not return on the 2 nights we were there opting to eat out instead.

The hotel was in a great location for visiting the surrounding area. We were there to visit Bastogne and the related Battle of Bulge museums. The room was clean, comfortable and we liked having a little outdoor space with a balcony overlooking the river & woods.

Helpful staff at check in. Excellent early breakfast, we were there for a race, so needed an early start. Great setting in the woods.

Parking was over crowded, the location is huge and a bit away from the town.

Very good breakfast, i had to leave early, so could already enjoy coffee and croissants at 7:15. Staff was very friendly, prepared me a late night snack. The beds were comfy, quiet room and modern bathroom.

when I asked a rhum Cola they served me cola without gas, it was old cola from the day before i guess !!! a pitty for such an expensive drink!

We forgot it was Easter weekend! So it was very, very busy! Nothing really that the hotel could have done, but the amount of families & children meant there was no sleeping in for long!

Breakfast was decent. Grounds were beautiful & it was conveniently located for us for what we wanted to visit.

Seatings in buffet restaurant: whole group was dispersed over restaurant (despite availability of tables nearby).

Combination of hotel and trail 'start/finish'. Very comfortable. After dinner talks and drinks in bar.

Expected a little more from the rooms. 1 ply toilet paper in a hotel for example is a bit odd. Avoid the buffet dinner. Was 26.50€ per person extra, and was really low quality.

Lights on the bathroom swich on, as sensor and swich off after the time, by own. On the nights was swiched off heating on the bathroom. The towels on the morning were wet. As it were raining, our clothing and foofwear, also.

The breakfast has so much room for improvement. The powdered eggs are bad and the offerings need to be revamped. The staff really only speak French, not much else from there. They offer bike storage, but unfortunately the key / room they gave us did not work.

They are currently renovating the property and so we were lucky to have newly refurbished room. It was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and if I were to come back to Houffalize I would stay here.

Smoking is allowed on balconies, so the smoke form the neighbor's balcony enters into the neighboring rooms. We had to close the doors each time the neighbors smoked. Bathroom shower is too small. Bathroom light has no bypass to turn off. It comes on super bright automatically whenever you walk by the bathroom. Not pleasant when you use the bathroom at night.

Handycapped room was very spacious and beyond our expectation.
