The staff checking us out were less pleasant. They were clearly hungover, which is not a problem in itself, but they weren't very friendly or helpful. The room was a little bit smaller and outdated than the pictures showed, but nothing too bad.

Because the bar was always busy and open till 2am every single night, it was not the easiest to sleep, but they were smartly handing out free earplugs at reception :)

Social aspect!! Its being connected to a bar meant it was always lively, and there were so many people to make friends with

I was under the impression that the shower would be in my room but it is in fact in a hallway, don't get me wrong the facilities are fine but I paid thinking I would have a shower for myself.

The staff were great and invited us to a beer tasting session upon arrival, it is a very inclusive place to stay and you are guaranteed to feel welcome and likely meet new friends! I met a Canadian, American, Irish Man, locals and everyone was great.

The shower and the toilet were in two different cubicles in the room. The sink was in the shower cubicle; it would have been better with the toilet. No hooks in shower room for towels. Could have used more plugs or an extension cord. Luggage storage is .80 euro an hour or 4 euro for day. The machine won't give you change!!

Nice private room on 3rd floor. Asked for a fan and got it. Fairly comfy bed and pillow. Some noise with window open, but mostly quiet. Check in is 4 doors down from hostel. No elevator, very steep stairs (usual in Belgium)

Walls were thin. You could hear people talking and walking up the stairs at night and it got quite loud at times. Luckily we were very tired from the day so we managed to sleep through most of it. But a light sleeper might find it inconvenient.

Room was spacious and clean. Good value. Location was nice. Not far from the center with many restaurants and food options around.

The doors close to strong so you can wake up all the night and the hostels pub is in the corner so if you are not in the party. You are going to be awake all the time because of the noisy.

The atmosphere is so nice. The staff is nice and patient. Important, the beds have curtains and thats give you a lot of privacy. The showers and toilets are good and comfortable besides it to be in the same room but exists a lot of space.

Once you figure out where the good toilets and showers are (the ones closest to the stairs) they are actually quite good. Those further back are terrible though. Friendliest staff I've encountered on my trip.

Like pretty much all other establishments on booking, they say they have parking. When you get there you have to find parking on the street or/and. You have to pay extra for it .

It was unusually quiet. I felt as though you couldn't make a noise, even moving in your bed was very loud there.

The beds were perfect, each bed had a curtain, there was space to store my things and it was very, very clean.

My room didn’t look like the ones in the photos, the only toilet on my floor was always dirty, they charged the lockers for you to leave your bags if you arrived before checkin.

Combining hostel and bar is a genius business idea. This place is good for budget stay when travelling to Bruges and also they have apartments which are much more comfortable than usual room with shared shower and price difference is pretty small. The bar is very cool too, made with love and rock'n'roll. They have crazy hat fridays!

No cooking facilities- unless you book into the double room. Would be great if they at least had a kettle! The breakfast isn't worth it.

The bar was a great social space. Definitely a great space to meet people. Hot tip- if you're a couple it's worth spending extra money and booking into a double room share bathroom in apartment 3b- there you will have access to a whole separate living area, TV, kitchen for cooking and large fridge. So I'd definitely stay in that apartment again!
