Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandThe only improvement needed would be to have eggs in the breakfast but otherwise it's in a very nice room.
It was my third time in the hotel and I continue to think it is the best combination of a good location, a cozy environment, nice staff and a good breakfast. Room on the fourth floor had also good light.

United States of AmericaThe only thing I wasn't crazy about was our room, which was on the first floor just off the lobby. It felt dark and not very private. But it was clean and comfortable.
Funky decor, clean room, comfortable bed. Breakfast was great -cold buffet many choices. Friendly staff. Allowed early check-in.

United KingdomA bit pricey for what it is.
Well located near Brussels’s main shopping street, a short Metro ride from the Eurostar station. Nice enough hotel with pleasant staff.

United KingdomThere’s no Elevator even the small one.
The place says for itself as Vintage. Clean, Retro decors and lovely place and very helpful staff. Over all stay was good apart from we were allocated on the second floor which has a very narrow stairs and no elevator service. Difficult specially when carrying some heavy luggages.

GermanyMost of the TV channels didn't work. The walls deserve a new paint, some of the decoration elements, pictures frames, etc. are a little bit cheap, but nothing bad really!
The breakfast was great. It's clean and cosy. Personal was helpful and nice. Location is perfect: both central and quite.

IcelandThe hotel is a bit dated, a coat of paint would do wonders.
The hotel is a bit dated but clean and comfortable, the room I was in was spacious and very friendly staff. I love the location, short walk from a metro station. I will definitely want to stay there again.

Excellent location, quiet but handy for a range of eating places. Staff were very helpful and it was a real boon to be able to leave our luggage securely after checking out.

Turkeythe room was large enough but scarcely decorated.
Location was excellent, the room was spacious and the bed comfortable. There are a lot of restaurants and shops all around the hotel. It is 25 minute walk to the touristic center of the city, but there is lot more actual life close to the hotels location.

United KingdomPerhaps a little far out from the main attractions for some (25 - 30 min walk) but I knew where it was when booked so it's not a dislike more an FYI.
Lovely ambience, quite "quirky", staff very helpful and friendly. Good selection of bars/restaurants on the doorstep. Comfortable room, lush shower!

United Arab EmiratesI found some staff quite nonfriendly and uninterested in responding politely. The heater wasn't working. Unhappy with the initial room given, should not have been offered to us in the first place as that was not the type of room we paid for.
The location of the property is within walking distance from the Metro station, there are supermarkets nearby. The restaurants are quite upscale and have fine dining. We walked a little ahead in the neighborhood to find cheaper options. The initial room given to us was quite congested and claustrophobic, upon request it was changed to a much better room on the lower floor. However, the heater wasn't working in any of the rooms. Some of the staff were quite helpful in guiding us regarding the transport options and the locations with cool vibes and clubs.

United KingdomNothing not to like really.
Location was good and close enough to the train station to walk from the Eurostar. Good location for exploring local shops and cafes and a nice walk to the more touristy shops and food helping to burn a few calories from all the delicious food, chocolate and beer (up hill on way back)! Very nice foyer with little bar and coffee facilities and breakfast, of pastries and cereals, if you so choose, we didn’t so can’t vouch for breakfast but it looked and smelt fine. Very comfortable and clean rooms and warm. Cleaners called every day and also replenished tea and coffee items in the room. We were also allowed to leave our bags in the hotel on the last day until we were ready to head to the station for our journey home at the end of the day.

PolandIt's better to avoid a room nr 02 on the ground floor, otherwise you'll her door knocking all night long. We had to ask to change the room, because we hadn't slept well because of that noise.
A cute hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Generally the stay was quit comfortable and pleasant. Also the location is very comfortable with a metro, tram, bus nearby, as well as good choice of restaurants and cafes.
