The garbage thrown all around Golden Sands, big shame. Public areas nearby are full of garbage. Supermarkets without basic food items. No fruits and vegetables inside. Just some old rests, but not of Bulgarian origin ,against the fact that the beginnig of September is main fruit season. Enormous high prices in supermarkets and stupid high ones in restaurants. That's why the restaurants are empty ! In one day we visited Varna Sea Garden + Dolphinarium , big difference. Public areas are treated, clean , no garbage. Restaurants are full with good prices. Conclusion Golden Sands need restart of general services.

Apartment was quite well equiped , but it needs more basic items.

The elevators were slow, one of them was okay, but you had to wait a lot for the other to arrive. They don’t have sensors for entrance, one of them smashed me when I tried to enter and I had a bruise for the rest of the stay.

Close to the centre, the sea. The apartment was spacious, had utilities and dishes. The pool was an added benefit.

Not very problematic, but the door was a little squeaky and the wifi was slow.

The location is pretty close to the beach, around 7-8 minutes of walking. The room was cleaned everyday and the sheets were changed every third day. We had a nice view of the sea and the pool. The hosts were very nice, we communicated through WhatsApp and got help every time when needed. There was also a parking spot for our car.

The location are a bit uphill, so you have to walk maybe 8-10 min down to the beach. The beds are very hard to sleep on, at least for my taste

Location-wise, it is a 7-8 min walk to the beach, but if you do not mind a bit of a walk, the Dilov apartments are 120% worth it.

We stayed in the two-bedroom apartment with sea view and let me tell you the view did not disappoint, especially with two balconies. The apartment was entirely furnished and spacious, with two air conditioning units. The entire apartment was very clean. We even had access to the common pool. Stefan and his wife were constantly available through a simple WhatsApp message and were the most helpful, accommodating and efficient hosts we have ever had. We often vacation in Golden Sands and have tried numerous other apartments on the strip and this one stands out. We had a minor issue with the lock on the apartment on the first day and by the second day at noon they had changed the lock and given us new keys. I personally cannot manage such a fast lock change back home, so this was quite impressive and made us feel valued. They were also very accommodating for parking for us and our guests.

We really liked the apartments. Big balcony with view. There is everything you need in the kitchen! It is very convenient that there is room cleaning, during which towels and bedding were also changed. We also visited the pool - a beautiful area, clean water. Walk 5-7 minutes to the beach. I strongly recommend accommodation in Dilov Apartments

The shower drain is located right in the center of the bathroom, water accumulates and you can't use the rest of the bathroom without getting your feet wet. I think it's a bathroom design error and it's not the host's fault, but this malfunction can be improved in some way.

The aparthotel is located near the central area, close to the beach and to the promenade street, in a quiet zone. The host is very kind, the cleanliness is done properly, the apartment is spacious, quite well equipped in the kitchen area, and the view from the 7th floor is special. Otherwise, the comfort is somewhat desirable, the furniture is basic, but it compensates by the small price paid, location, kind staff, quietness and view.

There are things to improve but at that price I can't really complain

For less than the price of a double room at a 3* hotel I got a full size apartment with free parking and just 2 minutes away from the central beach. They offer different kinds of apartments so if you pay a little extra you will get a bigger better apartment
