Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Unfortunately we stayed only for a night, but we will definitely come back next time for more.
Excellent place with very kind and hospitable hosts. Comfortable bed, clean room. The restaurant was also very good both for breakfast and dinner. The pizzas were superb! Walking distance to the beach in St. Constantine and Helena. Also the free parking is very convenient.

The only negative was that there was no hot water to our apartment which meant that we were unable to have showers in the morning.
This place was one of the best we've stayed in. For the money we paid it really was excellent. The apartment we booked was beautifully clean, spacious and very comfortable. The facilities were excellent and the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The breakfast was outstanding with quality homemade items and well cooked items. We would definitely stay here again!

Very limited space for parking, otherwise difficult street parking. Far from the city center.
Guesthouse with restaurant, good food. The service is nice and helpful.

Car parking is via a steep ramp and very limited but the owner parked my rental car for me as I was scared of damaging it. Not easy to enter or leave from the main road. Only a very minor issue.
Very pleasant guest house with nice gardens, pool and a summer house. Good size room with a balcony and chairs overlooking the garden. No cleanliness issues. Quiet location. Restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining with an extensive menu. Adequate breakfast. Friendly and helpful host who parked my rental car for me.

Outside the hotel road to the beach is far, dirty, very busy. Not the owner's fault for sure.
Good breakfast, nice pool, nice room with a kitchen, lovely stuff,nice garden and restaurant.

WiFi did not work (password was incorrect and reception was also really bad). If you have a room to the back of the house your balcony faces a street which is rather loud during the day (at night it was ok).
The Guesthouse is near the beach (15 -20 minute walk). Taking the bus to Varna takes about 15 minutes. The room was very clean and spacious, the bed comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ok but nothing special. When you come with a car you can park in the yard. This can be a challenge to get out of if there are many cars but the owners will help in that case.

The location suits us perfectly, as you are out of the busy part of the city and in the same time everything that you need is close in terms of institutions or tourist spots. This is why la Casa is our favourite place, no matter if we are in Varna for leisure or work. The staff creates worm and family environment along with the great food that never lets us down. Highly recommended!
